I'm 57 years old, but I still often feel like a kid. Sometimes I wish I wasn't a basketball fan at all, but I don't think that's going to change. I'm one of those fools who stays through the pain all the way to end no matter how ugly it gets. Sometimes I get to see miracles that a more faint of heart will miss when they turn the game off, like when UK was down to LSU (what was it 31, 32 points) at half time several years ago and came back to win.
My wife and I were married in 1970 and we have four grown children and five grandchildren.
Life is good. I am a Systems Administrator for a kitchen cabinet company and in my 9th year there. I just hope the economy doesn't tank and cause me to lose the best job I've ever had!
No matter what though, my soul is saved and whether I live another 57 years or 57 minutes doesn't matter. It took me 47 years to get here and I wouldn't trade the decision for the world! I highly recommend it because we've all got a long future in front of us. Question is, where will you spend yours?
