So seeing as we are now down one MLB/ILB, could this mean that we are going to offer a trade for Desmond Bishop? I think it would be a great addition to the Defense. I think he is a young vet that could help our LB core. He is only 28 where as Dansby is 31. The only downside is that we would have to trade for him, where as Dansby we can just sign. Whats your thoughts?

Don't worry about the Jets taking "our guy". I'd love to see Buffalo trade #8 to St. Louis for #16 and #22 or Minnesota for #23 and #25. Then draft LB, QB, and WR(2nd Round). I'm not fully sure who Buffalo is looking at for QB, part of me feels like they are using Nassib and Barkley as a smoke screen to not let other teams (Like Jets) know. I wouldn't be surprised if we went after EJ Manuel, dispite Nix's comments. Same with Bray, Wilson, or Jones. Thoughts?

I would like to see Buffalo trade the #8 overall pick to the 49ers, in exchange for #30, #34, and #131. The reason San Fran would trade up is to grab a WR (Austin or Patterson). Or I would like to see Buffalo trade #8 to St. Louis for #16 and #22 or for #16 and #42. What do y'all think? Should Buffalo trade #8 or keep it? If they keep, who would you draft at 8? If we traded, I think we grab a WR or LB, QB(Manuel, Glennon, or Nassib), LB or WR.

I'm fine if we didn't sign anyone else, but as a fan I'm a little frustrated that we haven't heard anything either way. If you're rebuilding and waiting till next year, which is completely cool just let us know. If you have a plan to be a contender this year, even better; but again let us know as fans. So instead of refreshing the page every 10 mins hoping and seeing nothing but our division rivals bulking up, give us something to hope for, something to get excited about again. People say that Bills fans are the best, that’s because we can always find hope in dark situations, but it's getting hard to find hope when you're not given any information on where to look.

Think we need to keep the ball rolling and sign another LB. We need help at ILB, someone like a Brad Jones who is a 3down player, young, and cheap. Then we go after two WRs. We need an End Zone threat like DHB. I think Gibson would be a good fit as well, because I'm not completely sold on Graham's consistency. Then I think we add another vet QB into the mix, like a Josh Johnson... someone still young with a lot of upside who hasn't been given the chance.

LBs: Connor Barwin, Philip Wheeler, Brad Jones, Rey Maualuga (3 out of 4) / CB: Brent Grimes or Rodgers-Cromartie / WR: Brandon Gibson, Ramses Barden /QB: Josh Johnson... I've seen anywhere from $18.5mil to $25.5mil depending on if the send $7mil of Fitz's contract is sent to next year.then I think we trade the #8 pick for a late first and anither second or third then draft QB, WR, TE, S, OL, CB, LB. Not necessarily one of each but from those positions.

Just hear me out… These are just some things that I thought about that might help move us forward. I know not all of this will happen, but it’s just some thoughts from a Bills fan.

QB:

Start off by renegotiating Fitz contract and cut that $10 million to about $4-6. We have signed Jackson to a fairly cheap deal. What if we did the same with Chase Daniel, a guy who knows Marrone’s system, young, accurate, and hasn’t been given a chance so he’s not "someone’s leftovers". If we did that, then we release Corp (we all know it’s going to happen anyway) and then draft a rookie and let the 4 of them battle it out for the 3 spots.

WR:

Think we need to resign Nelson, big target with great hands. Plus he plays the slot great, and has chemistry with the current QBs and is still young to be around for young future guys.

Then we need to sign a veteran from free agents. I was thinking maybe someone who is a speed guy like Graham who can train and mold him into the star, but yet fairly cheap like Amendola or Alexander.

Then we draft a vertical threat WR in the 3-4 round.

LB:

Need to go after guys like Wheeler(OAK), Kruger(BAL), Ellerbe(BAL), Maualuga(CIN), Lawson(CIN), Henderson(MIN), Barwin(HOU). From this list if we could sign 2 of them that would be great, an ILB and OLB.

Then in the draft you do the same, draft an ILB and OLB, which can be groomed by the vet so that way we don’t get into the situation where we don’t have someone that can step up.

CB

If given a shot in free agency we should go after either Grimes(ATL) or Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie(PHI).

We need to resign Byrd, if we can’t… Then we need to franchise him for this year and draft Vaccaro(TEX), and let Byrd mentor him this next year and see how that plays out.
