Music City Miracles For Gramsey

I'm gonna do my best to explain why (I think) I feel the way that I do.  I even asked for help with this yesterday when I couldn't figure out what was going on in my head in the (pull up a chair gentleman) fanpost. Where to start, I guess I should start by saying we will never know the truth about anything, so we always have to read into everything.  It was like the steroids in baseball thing 5-10 years ago.  Try and figured everything out for yourself and do your best to read between the lines with everything Vince or Fisher has to say.  Its really easy to do with Vince cuz in all reality he's kinda dopey.  Much harder to do with Fisher cuz he can be kinda sneaky which is actually something I always liked about him.  So pretty much everything that I feel I pretty much made up for myself lol.

I wouldn't say Fisher had it out for Vince from day 1, but I don't feel he ever wanted him which is pretty common knowledge.  It started when Bud decided to draft him.  There was an instance in a game a few years ago where VY kinda challenged Fisherball, I believe it was against Jax.  Vince took it upon himself to audible to a pass on a 3rd down while we were running out the clock. I really think Fisher wanted to be done with him then. I don't think he liked being questioned.  In that case Fisher was in the right, but it was a way bigger deal and stuck if Fisher's mind more than people think.

I really feel Vince quit on the team as everyone else did 2 years ago verse Jax.  While I wanted nothing to do with him for a time,  I forgave him as a fan for that. Everyone obviously deserves a 2nd chance.  I don't think Fisher on the other hand ever did, nor did I think he had any plans to have him as his starter ever again.

Fisher was forced by ineffective play by Collins, the lack of another option last year and Bud to put VY back out on the field at 0-6.  I'm sure Vince knows this and feels the same way.   After last the last 10 games of last season and the start that Vince got off to he was starting to feel it was his team.  He was the leader, and he could take this team where it needed to go.

The game against the Steelers I would say we all would agree we were pretty surprised to see VY get benched. It was probably pretty shocking for him as well, and I think at that point VY was hurt and didn't really show it.  I think at that point VY had given up on Fisher whether he was named starter the following week or not, VY's confidence was shot and the leadership role took a serious hit.  Whether the intent was there or not Fisher pretty much said to VInce and the rest of the team "Fuck you" this is my team.

Vince was healthy enough to start against Miami.  Fisher saw an opportunity to start Kerry and took advantage of it.  Like I said this is just how I see it.  Vince wanted to start and Fisher probably said something along the lines of "I don't wanna see you hurt yourself further to jeopardize our season" all the while hoping Kerry went out there to tear it up to give him a reason to hand Kerry the job.  The media starts to question Vince's toughness which just keeps fueling the fire in Vince's head.

Through all this time while Dinger drew em up Fisher made the decisions on how they approached the playcalling.  You couldn't help but notice that when Collins was in we always made a point to throw the ball downfield, it really stood out in the Philly game.  There were numerous times when we as fans said "please let this guy throw the ball more", even this year.  You don't think this had a effect on Vince's mindset and how they felt about him?  Furthermore adding more fuel to Vince's fire.

Now don't get me wrong, you all know I love and respected Fisher just as much as the next guy, but why is everyone acting like we just started questioning him and some of his decisions?  Like some of us hate him for what happened with Vince.  Like we have to take a side in this right now.  We have been question Fisher since 0-3 last year.  The decisions to make Ryan Mouton a returner, to cut all other return options.  The decision to constantly send Nick Harper out there to get torched week after week.  The constant personal fouls, the constant penalties all over the place whether its an encroachment or a hold.  If Eugene Amano can't make a block without getting a holding penalty, fuckin find someone who will.  If the DTs and DEs can't get penetration without getting 15 encroachment penalties a game, fuckin find someone who will. Now I'm not blaming the fact that this team doesn't have a Super Bowl in his time here squarely on his shoulders.  Just saying we haven't always been on his or a side.  And for the life of me I cannot understand why every time someone questions a Fisher decision the wanna be Fisher apologist have to jump out and say "Here we go, lets fire Fisher for this too" sarcastically.  You can question a coach without wanting him fired.  Fisher is adored throughout the country for being a guy that players like to play for cuz he takes it easy on em throughout the otas, doesn't kill em in practices and camps, he's well spoken, obviously smart, he's good looking, so he's a pretty well rounded guy.  He's not known as a winner, and that's what matters to me

Where I'm at with Fisher, and some of you have said some of the same.  He's become very prideful, his ego has gotten in the way more than once over the last couple of years I don't know what he's trying to prove, but I've seen enough of the Elvis sunglasses and the finely tuned beards.  I wanna see this team legally punch other teams in the mouth, this guy let the beard grow how it wants, take off the shades and pretty shirts and find ways to make this team work on a consistent basis.   No more 8-8s.  While I know VY can be a bit of a child at times, can anyone on here say Fisher has done the best he can with Vince?  I would say if anything he has actually brought out the worst in him.

On to the VY situation and why this is different for me than the usual "I'm going to dismiss him, nor do I care for him anymore at all" routine I go through with some clown ass players.  I actually feel for the guy, Lord only knows why... He's been handed everything on a Silver platter and he still finds ways to Fuck it up.  I feel that he learned a lot from his mistake a couple years ago against Jax,  I feel that he worked hard to get better, I feel he worked hard to become a leader, yet he still makes those mistakes as a person that make you shake your head.  As a player I really think he's turned the corner, and I do not wanna start fresh and wait for the next guy to progress.  I'm 33, I take being a fan serious.  Every single year I say a team is gonna win the Super Bowl, by the time I'm dead odds are mine has to be one of them.  This will prolong that experience in my opinion.  Some of you I know feel Vince doesn't have what it takes mentally to do this.  I think in the right situation with the right support he can.  Yeah sure he's more fragile mentally than a lot of other QBs for whatever reason, but really who doesn't want to be loved?  I still play sports competitively, I play in a full contact flag league with some pretty good athletes.  I also play open modified/sling softball leagues.  I run some of the teams,  there's guys on team anywhere from 1-15 years younger than I am... Some good, some bad but I see how they are.  I see the big difference on my son's teams from how shit was when we played.  The athletes are a bit more babyish and high maintenance than they used to be.  I'm the guy that runs hard when I ground out, jogs back to the dugout and puts his helmet down, gets ready to play some more... I'm the guy on the football field that plays as hard as I can every single play and rarely shows emotion.  But I see the kid in that younger age group fly out, start cursing, throw their helmets, text in the dugout the whole ordeal... I see the guys on the football field that can't keep their mouths shut no matter what they do good or bad.  I look at Vince and I see a younger guy that has this mostly under control...  I can forgive and root for him cuz I really think he's a good guy.  I don't see the T.O. crap in him, he doesn't call out teammates, he doesn't cry when they don't let him throw the ball.  He threw a fit cuz he wanted to go back in the game and the coach wouldn't let him.  He was trying to disprove the naysayers, and was deprived of that opportunity.  Fisher based on his injury was actually right this time, but Vince probably looked at it as Fisher's way of keeping him off the field again.

I look at the mistake he made and can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing he did.  We all get pissed in the heat of the moment, we are all still human beings with emotions, Vince falls into that more emotional category.  I feel he loves football, wants to win a Super Bowl and will make mistakes emotionally for the rest of his life.  It's just who he is, he wears his heart on his sleeve.  He didn't walk off the field in the middle of a loss after an interception while being booed, but that's how he's being treated.  He didn't stomp on a helmetless players face while on the ground, he didn't run anyone off the road.  He didn't get wasted and drive his car into another vehicle and kill someone. He isn't fat and a complete waste of space like Jemarcus Russell, he's not Ryan Leaf.  What Vince did in my eyes isn't really all that bad.  It's not like he's done anything like Pacman and countless others have done, and we are giving him less chances but the same scrutiny. Can't figure that out.  I really wanna support him through it.  And no I'm not from freaking Texas, not every guy that wants to support Vince has to be from Texas. I'm from the tri state area, which is where N.Y. NJ and PA meet.  And a lot of the friends I have from this area that are true football fans feel the same way I do about the situation, which has actually been pretty surprising.  I have a lot more to say but need to get the hell off here for a bit lol... Sorry for any typos.  Feel free to call me dumb...

Music City Miracles Kenny Britt: where there is smoke, there is fire

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/01/20/britt-posts-165k-bail-for-friend/

I pretty much shrugged off anything and everything having to do with Kenny Britt and the law up to this point... I was literally ignoring peoples posts saying get a mentor, get your shit straightened out now.  I was really thinking wow dudes are really taking this to the next level, getting a bit carried away. Thinking don't make a big deal of nothing.

I don't care what anyone says, this shit is starting to worry me, I don't care who likes or dislikes Florio. In my opinion he is an idiot, but news is news. Fact is fact... If you sleep with dogs you wake up with what?

Music City Miracles Message for Keith Bulluck...

We all know you read this blog, simply cuz you know it's the best blog out there... So hopefully you read this post.

Just my opinion, but if there ever was a player that's supposed to finish his career in the place it started it's you.  You belong to us... You are our leader!   We believe in you!   Your the glue!  Your the piece that makes this Defense go, and we all know it's the defense and attitude that has made this team respectable for years.

We all wanna wear your jersey to feel like a winner... Or maybe when we wanna feel like a respected, ferocious, sideline to sideline tackling beast.

When the whole jerseygate fisher ordeal went down, there was only one man's opinion that mattered to me and a lot of others.  However you felt about it, I knew would be the way I should feel and the right way to take it.

When it comes time for signing please remember all of your special years and moments with this team, and most of all please keep us in mind... The people that love watching you play for our team.

Sincerely,

Your biggest fans

Music City Miracles I got to go to the game today... A couple thoughts

Living in N.Y. I got my first opportunity to see Chris Johnson in person... He's faster in person than on T.V. He's the fastest player I've ever seen... Love it

Other than the obvious Fisher and Mouton follies with the special teams A LOT of the blame today needs to go to Nate Washington and Kerry Collins... Unless Washington is in the endzone he can't catch shit... To me Kerry's biggest issue is his approach against the blitz.  Most of the time he doesn't see it coming, and when he does he pretty much gives up on the play, runs out of the pocket and throws the ball away.  You cannot do that on 3rd downs consistently and expect to win. A couple of times he threw the ball very late... Revis is good, but a few times he let Revis get back into play when there was space... I hate to say it after only 3 games but Maybe it's time for a change... Maybe Vince can bring a spark that's missing for this whole team...

Kenny Britt needs to start over Washington in the 2 wr sets...

Michael Griffin Pick your damn head up and wrap... Pop warner kids tackle better than you and your gonna end up hurting yourslf real bad you keep that shit up.

Lendale White looks really good...

Seemed like the Titans had a better feel and approach defensively today... It seems like Cecil and the saftey's understand now that we don't have to play the run like no other in order to stop it...

Nick Harper is really bad.  Can't seem to cover a slant if his life or the game depends on it...

McCourty actually looked better than he did... McCourty actually played the deep ball to Cotchery pretty well. He was inches away from knocking that ball away.  Unlike Harper he actually showed some ball skills.

I know this will be said by many but this team could easily be 2-1, now we are just rolling downhill and it seems like we are running into a bit of a snowball effect... Fisher needs to do something to turn it around... 1st thing is to swallow his pride, say he was wrong about the return game and drafting Chris Henry and make roster adjustments accordingly.

Anyway just some of my perspective on things... Holler

Music City Miracles I'm very sad...

I really don't know what to say.  I feel like I've lost a friend... I've been reading the blog for a day and a half now and still can't really put down the right words to express how I feel about this.  I am heartbroken over losing one of my all time favorite players.  Every Sunday I watched and rooted for this man with all of my heart.  Like others have said he played the game the way it was supposed to be played.  He treated others the way people really should.  He lived life the way people should live their lives, generously and enjoyably.  As far as I'm concerned he may be the toughest player to ever to wear an NFL uniform.  I will never watch a game again and not think of Steve McNair and the things he did for our organization and the people surrounding him.

As a lot of you know I was a huge Oiler fan... We had some down years, I hold a real soft spot for guys like McNair and Eddie for all of the hard work and dedication they gave to get this team back to respectability.  I shouldn't even say that, they gave this Franchise more respectability than it ever had.  He has done so much for so many he will surely be missed for years and years.  Thoughts and prayers to his family, his friends, his fans, and anyone whose lives he made an impact on including mine.

Steve Air McNair you will truly be missed.  You made me proud to be a Titan fan...

Music City Miracles Bulluck

http://www.tennessean.com/article/20090521/SPORTS01/90521099/1027/Bulluck+sees+end+of+road+with+Titans

This kind of stuff has really gotta hurt our chances of signing available veteran Free Agents every year.  I mean who really wants to come finish their careers here? After the whole McNair incident I'm sure players were already reluctant to do so... Now reading this feeling that Bulluck has on his situation, it  feels as though our organization doesn't give a shit about or players once they get to a certain age.

Music City Miracles Anquan Boldin

I know a lot is gonna be made of what he did on Sunday... Fact is he is a beast and will die for his teammates, whether he wants to celebrate with them or not under the circumstances the Cardinals organization has put him in is up to him.  They betrayed him by making him promises they did not keep... He made them promises and kept every one of them. He has been the consummate pro in his time there, and regardless of what people think he is looked up to by everyone he has ever played with. He deserves the raise he asked for and was told he would be given. He could have held out to start the season but said he would commit to his teammates by playing and giving it everything he has every time he steps on the field just for them. Being paid less than half of what the other stud WR on the team is getting is turning this man into Rod Tidwell.

I do think it was a mistake on his part to not celebrate with the team, he easily could have just avoided the front office personnel and partied it up with his boys. Hey, maybe he did later on that night when there was no media around. Who knows?

The point in me bringing this all up is I have followed Anquan for a long time and have sort of a man crush... Don't know what it is. He just seems like the kind of player/guy/warrior I would want on my team.

I want this guy on the Titans, and not just a little bit. The Cards fans seem to think a 1st and a 3rd would be sufficient... Would you guys as Titan fans be willing to give up a 1st and 3rd for arguably one of the top 5-10 Wrs in football? I would say top 5.  A guy that can take a 10 yard pass and turn it into an 80 yard TD. A guy that will catch just about anything thrown in his direction. A guy will catch a 5 yard pass and turn it into 15 yards with 4 defenders in his way.  A guy that will go up in traffic and make sure he's the one that comes down with it cuz he wants it more.  As I already said... I do!

Revenge of the Birds Congratulations

Congrats to the Cards and their fans... While I'm a die hard Titan fan, I will be rooting hard for the Cards as I have throughout the playoffs.  I have been a huge Adrian Wilson and Anquan Boldin fan for quite some time, its nice to finally see them get their shot a championship.  You guys should be really proud, you have some real good players to go along with some all time greats that really know how to play and win with class.  Enjoy this next couple of weeks, you guys really deserve it.

Music City Miracles Am I really so crazy?

For those of you calling me crazy

I knew that would happen and its fine and understandable…

As I live in N.Y. I get the pleasure of listening to N.Y. radio. Funny thing happened today. They were going over the games on 1050am espn radio and one of the hosts of the show said without restraint, watching that game, it was pretty obvious the Titans were the better team. He said everyone questioned them saying they were a fluke and those type of things, but they proved that wasn’t the case.

I was listening to 660am The Fan a bit earlier and Mike Francesa a very respected radio host said it was very clear the Titans were the better team, they just beat themselves.

Sure we beat ourselves and I will learn to live with that, I will go to bed with a little less satisfaction knowing our team, the best in the AFC won’t be representing our conference . But I will be happily going to sleep every night knowing we walked all over the 2nd and 3rd best teams in the AFC within one month. We not just beat, stomped both of you. You can believe what you want. That is your Freedom. I can believe what I want, and have my own opinion and share it with other loyal Titan fans.

Music City Miracles I missed all of you as well

(Just in case you didn't see this in the other post)

It seems like lately the only time I get to relax is when I get to sit down and watch the games on Sunday…

Good news is I’m getting a laptop for Christmas, I know as I’ve been told I’m a little behind the times. I used to run from room to room to comment with you guys in the threads… I do not like to miss a play, so you could imagine how hectic that got.

I still read all the time, I like August West’s thing he’s got going on. Pretty cool how things work out. Now that winter is here I will have much more time with work slowing down…

How much fun has this season been? Seriously, sit back and think about what we’ve accomplished. I still sit here and wonder how it is we are as good as we are. But we definitely are a very good football team regardless of what anyone says. We can run it down your throat, we can play D with just about anyone, and we can throw when we really need too.

Unbelievable! The difference a guy like Chris Johnson can make! How many 3rd downs does Kerry just dump it off and CJ just coasts to the 1st down marker.

I guess it all kind of makes sense though right? I mean we were a 10-6 team last year… Throw a gamebreaker like CJ into the mix along with an experienced QB and off we go.

I really hope everyone is sitting back enjoying this, I have been a fan of this franchise for a long time. Seasons like these don’t happen often for guys like me Titans/Indians fan.

I will make that thread roll call list at least once this season… I love that!

Music City Miracles VY Question is...

http://www.tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080907/COLUMNIST0202/80907012/1027

Was Norm Chow correct about his attitude? I didn't like what I was seeing after that INT to Harvey. The way he had his head down while the coaches were trying to talk to him. Bad news. Get it together VY.

Sorry for not being around to do the threads with you fellow fans today. Due to Thunder storms Saturday my sons pop warner game was conveniently rescheduled for today Sunday at 1pm. How lucky am I?

Bitter/sweet/bitter/sweet and more bitter/sweet.  I got to see my sons team kick ass again, I got to miss the 1st 2 and a half quarters of the game, I got to see us play the last quarter and a half, I got to see VY get hurt, I got to see us win, and I got  to see our fearless leader look like a fearful terrible leader. What a day!

Vince Young: Its time to do something. I have no idea what. Something is not right with his attitude, I don't know if he has been spoiled by the Titans. I don't know what to say. Actually I do have something to say. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd say this, but he is holding back our football team. I cannot support a guy that is not there for the rest of the team. These guys will go to war for him and from the way it looks the feeling is not mutual. The shit he pulled today I would never expect from him, maybe L.T. or Reggie Bush's punk ass but not Vince.  I know some of you are gonna kill me for getting on him like this but I have defended him long enough. I don't feel he's done enough to deserve any more free passes, especially with the way he acted today. I do love him. I do hope he straightens himself out. He just needs to do something to prove to me that he is the right guy to lead this team. As everyone can see we have a really good football team. What's missing? Other than a couple of WRs of course.

I'd like to go on with my feelings on this but its been a long day. Good night.  1-0   Hell Yeah!

Joy Kat: please no comments from you

Music City Miracles Flash Johnson

I know its early but I think its about time we give Chris Johnson a nickname.  We already have the Round Mound of 1st down.  I think the rookie is already deserving of something fast and clever. You obviously have my vote.

Jimmy can we get a vote going?

Music City Miracles My random not so random draft thoughts

K... So I was fuming yesterday. Had a few drinks and didn't want to say much after I saw our first pick. Really glad I didn't.

After sleeping on it and giving it some more thought today, I like the Chris Johnson pick.  I had said over and over I didn't want to take a RB having picked Chris Henry and Lendale in the 2nd rd over the last 2 drafts.  If the Titans had him rated as their top player available in the skill position/playmaking threat category and they don't think Chris Henry is the guy for the job, there is no reason to waste any more time on him in which case I have no problem with the pick. Its becoming pretty clear Johnson was one of a few guys they had targeted for the pick and it wasn't just a shot in the dark. I think we have historically drafted well as an organization, so I trust us if that makes any sense.

This pick MIGHT represent the Front office telling us they F'd up with the C.Henry pick,  and I can respect that. It happens to the best of us. I emphasize MIGHT because realistically we could also make the assumption that the Titans love Chris Henry and think he and Johnson are the future backs for this franchise not Lendale. I know, it looks ridiculous to me as I type it.  Henry to me showed in his small sample of playing time that he has the size and speed to make plays, big plays. Lendale has not. Maybe we are looking at a future tandem of Henry/Johnson, just a thought.

Obviously a lot of us were way off projecting the WR talent in this draft.  When the 1st WR to go is Donnie Avery and its in the 2nd rd I can now look at it and say it would have been a mistake to take one. Thats coming from someone that wanted a WR(Devin Thomas) more than anyone.

The only player I'm really baffled we passed on is Merling.  I thought he was a great fit for our defense. I don't claim to know as much as Fish or M.R. so I can't question the move, especially seeing as 2 D-lineman went before Merling after we picked.

I don't know enough about the dude J.Jones we picked in the 2nd rd to even comment on it. I will just say I really hope our front office did some great scouting and got a steal. Fish says a few teams called directly afterwards and said they were ready to pick him with their next pick. I would say that also if I was in his position. Who knows?

Craig Stevens- Hmmmmmm A TE? Disagree with the pick.

We have Crumpler, Scaife, and we just signed Blakley. Why Why Why? I would rather have spent the money on Hartstock than spend a 3rd on a blocking TE. Hartstock was very good in this role.  They are saying they can develop him into a downfield threat due to his speed, what about the ability to run routes and hold onto passes?

William Hayes- Who? What? Whatever. Again I hope Fisher and M.R. are as smart as I think they are.

Latrell Hawkins- Great pick. Dude was tearing DBs to shreds the whole Senior Bowl week. He seems to play much faster and more athletic than the combine and pro day numbers. Looks to me like a natural. I think we are going to be really happy with this pick down the road. I'm counting on Paul Williams, Roydell, and Gage to be the Wrs that give th biggest contributions this season. Maybe we get something out of Hawkins, that would be a great bonus. As for Paul Williams I'm just going on a hunch. Brandon Jones sucks! And he's done nothing to prove otherwise.

Keglar- Key letters Keg. Sounds like a good prospect.

Cary Williams- Hopefully we get lucky and get another Finnegan.

Music City Miracles Chris Carr our new Return man?

We may have our new returner.  The Titans have signed Chris Carr to an offer sheet.  He is a restricted FA, Oak still has time to match the offer. He was tendered at the lowest possible level. So Oak wouldn't get anything if they don't match.

Music City Miracles Albert Hayensworth

Does anyone think that Albert will win Defensive player of the year?  I saw today that Mario Willimams won the NFL's best defensive lineman award. I'm not really sure what other players would be included in this discussion. Obviously if he was to win the award, it would increase his asking price. Which will already be ridiculous. I see a franchise tag in the near future, and an unhappy Albert. What do you think?

Music City Miracles Some thoughts on Vince Young

O.k. I went to bed last night. And being the fan that I am, I couldn't sleep cuz I was up thinkin about Vince and the discussions we've been having on him runnning less often. Listening to things the announcers were saying, and what Mawae had to say about the lack of Vince taking off and it being his choice really got to me. If he is really concerned about proving to everyone that he is a good pocket passer, then he isn't the player/person I thought. I still love him, and will always support him as long as he is on this team. But I do not think if this is the case, he is putting the team or winning 1st. And for me thats a problem. We have been trying to figure out why he is running less. I don't see the coaches telling him not to run as much cuz I don't see how the coaches could believe that would benifit our team. Could be injury, but he doesn't look too hurt when I see him take off. So him deciding not to run as much has to be his decision, no? These things being said, where is the Vince that when asked about his passing numbers or turnovers after a game used to reply with(I'll do whatever it takes to win games)- I don't hear that too much anymore, if at all. Thats what I want to hear. If we are going into the future with him as our QB, doesn't it bother you that going into a game he is more worried about his numbers as a passer and proving people wrong than winning? Cuz it really bothers me!

Music City Miracles Kelly Herndon

is here. Does this mean that M.Griffin will be moving to FS? I hope so. And how good is K.Herndon? I haven't ever paid any attention to him.

I know we have a lot of depth at FS, but if Griffin plays there we may have the 3rd best player at his position on our Defense straight off the top, behind Bullock and Hope(obviously excluding you know who).  He will struggle at CB and that doesn't work for me. Maybe it does for everyone else, but not for me.

Music City Miracles Larry Johnson

There are rumors floating around that the Chiefs are looking to trade L.J., I think they are crazy. But what if he is really available? They would probably take a 1sr Rd. Pk and something else. I know we have a lot of other needs, and this may be a dumb idea. But imagine Vince and L.J. in the same offense. We could really use a new #27 in town. Feed him over and over and watch as Vince runs and throws all over the place on Play action. I would really like to see that. Just something to talk about.

Music City Miracles Adam Schefter reports the Titans trade for ...

the 1st overall pick. Hooray, Well its about time our front office did something smart. This is a great trade that enables us to pick the best player in the draft Calvin Johnson. Rumor has it we gave up  this and next years 1st rd. picks, this years 2nd and a 4th. I don't think we will even need the picks anyway with the Vince C.J. tandem.  I am also very sorry to inform you this is a foul April fools joke that I hope I get some of you with. Just wanted to have a little bit of fun while I wait for this SB mock draft to get down to us.

Music City Miracles Has Lendale White

gotten fat or not? I'm reading all over the place that he put on 30 LBS. Fisher says he has been at the off-season training program. Are they giving out free crispy cremes or something? I mean I know they were doing it at the combine. I really hope this is 30 LBS of muscle but I doubt it.  If this is the guy we are counting on to shoulder our running game we could be in trouble. 30 LBS since the end of the season thats outrageous. Please let me know what you the locals have heard about this.

Music City Miracles Nick Harper

is said on pft to have inked a deal with the Titans. I'm sure we will all have something to say about this. I'm at least glad we signed someone that has some playing experience at a position we need. I'm not crazy about him, but he is probably the best available corner out there.

It's a start. Now all we need to do is sign K.Curtis, maybe trade for D.Jackson and find a RB to split time with Lendale and we can head for the draft.

Music City Miracles Sorry

to bring this up. But the more I read about this guy, and we all know who I am talking about (name does not deserve mention on this site anymore). I not only think he is already gone from our team. But he may be banished from the league all together.

My only question is can he file some type of grievance when we cut him?  I know I read about that type of thing when Koren Robinson got in trouble.

Music City Miracles Has anyone been watching the combine?

Seen anything surprising? I have, I've been pretty impressed with G. Olsen. I expected he would look good, but not this good. Ran an official 4.51, and has looked good in the other drills. That should secure him a 1st rd. spot w/ this weak TE class, maybe to the Bears. Zach Miller looked smooth but real slow, somewhere in the 4.8's. Just figured something interesting to talk about other than Adam Jones.
