I really don't know what to say. I feel like I've lost a friend... I've been reading the blog for a day and a half now and still can't really put down the right words to express how I feel about this. I am heartbroken over losing one of my all time favorite players. Every Sunday I watched and rooted for this man with all of my heart. Like others have said he played the game the way it was supposed to be played. He treated others the way people really should. He lived life the way people should live their lives, generously and enjoyably. As far as I'm concerned he may be the toughest player to ever to wear an NFL uniform. I will never watch a game again and not think of Steve McNair and the things he did for our organization and the people surrounding him.

As a lot of you know I was a huge Oiler fan... We had some down years, I hold a real soft spot for guys like McNair and Eddie for all of the hard work and dedication they gave to get this team back to respectability. I shouldn't even say that, they gave this Franchise more respectability than it ever had. He has done so much for so many he will surely be missed for years and years. Thoughts and prayers to his family, his friends, his fans, and anyone whose lives he made an impact on including mine.

Steve Air McNair you will truly be missed. You made me proud to be a Titan fan...

This kind of stuff has really gotta hurt our chances of signing available veteran Free Agents every year. I mean who really wants to come finish their careers here? After the whole McNair incident I'm sure players were already reluctant to do so... Now reading this feeling that Bulluck has on his situation, it feels as though our organization doesn't give a shit about or players once they get to a certain age.

I know a lot is gonna be made of what he did on Sunday... Fact is he is a beast and will die for his teammates, whether he wants to celebrate with them or not under the circumstances the Cardinals organization has put him in is up to him. They betrayed him by making him promises they did not keep... He made them promises and kept every one of them. He has been the consummate pro in his time there, and regardless of what people think he is looked up to by everyone he has ever played with. He deserves the raise he asked for and was told he would be given. He could have held out to start the season but said he would commit to his teammates by playing and giving it everything he has every time he steps on the field just for them. Being paid less than half of what the other stud WR on the team is getting is turning this man into Rod Tidwell.

I do think it was a mistake on his part to not celebrate with the team, he easily could have just avoided the front office personnel and partied it up with his boys. Hey, maybe he did later on that night when there was no media around. Who knows?

The point in me bringing this all up is I have followed Anquan for a long time and have sort of a man crush... Don't know what it is. He just seems like the kind of player/guy/warrior I would want on my team.

I want this guy on the Titans, and not just a little bit. The Cards fans seem to think a 1st and a 3rd would be sufficient... Would you guys as Titan fans be willing to give up a 1st and 3rd for arguably one of the top 5-10 Wrs in football? I would say top 5. A guy that can take a 10 yard pass and turn it into an 80 yard TD. A guy that will catch just about anything thrown in his direction. A guy will catch a 5 yard pass and turn it into 15 yards with 4 defenders in his way. A guy that will go up in traffic and make sure he's the one that comes down with it cuz he wants it more. As I already said... I do!

Congrats to the Cards and their fans... While I'm a die hard Titan fan, I will be rooting hard for the Cards as I have throughout the playoffs. I have been a huge Adrian Wilson and Anquan Boldin fan for quite some time, its nice to finally see them get their shot a championship. You guys should be really proud, you have some real good players to go along with some all time greats that really know how to play and win with class. Enjoy this next couple of weeks, you guys really deserve it.

For those of you calling me crazy

I knew that would happen and its fine and understandable…

As I live in N.Y. I get the pleasure of listening to N.Y. radio. Funny thing happened today. They were going over the games on 1050am espn radio and one of the hosts of the show said without restraint, watching that game, it was pretty obvious the Titans were the better team. He said everyone questioned them saying they were a fluke and those type of things, but they proved that wasn’t the case.

I was listening to 660am The Fan a bit earlier and Mike Francesa a very respected radio host said it was very clear the Titans were the better team, they just beat themselves.

Sure we beat ourselves and I will learn to live with that, I will go to bed with a little less satisfaction knowing our team, the best in the AFC won’t be representing our conference . But I will be happily going to sleep every night knowing we walked all over the 2nd and 3rd best teams in the AFC within one month. We not just beat, stomped both of you. You can believe what you want. That is your Freedom. I can believe what I want, and have my own opinion and share it with other loyal Titan fans.

(Just in case you didn't see this in the other post)

It seems like lately the only time I get to relax is when I get to sit down and watch the games on Sunday…

Good news is I’m getting a laptop for Christmas, I know as I’ve been told I’m a little behind the times. I used to run from room to room to comment with you guys in the threads… I do not like to miss a play, so you could imagine how hectic that got.

I still read all the time, I like August West’s thing he’s got going on. Pretty cool how things work out. Now that winter is here I will have much more time with work slowing down…

How much fun has this season been? Seriously, sit back and think about what we’ve accomplished. I still sit here and wonder how it is we are as good as we are. But we definitely are a very good football team regardless of what anyone says. We can run it down your throat, we can play D with just about anyone, and we can throw when we really need too.

Unbelievable! The difference a guy like Chris Johnson can make! How many 3rd downs does Kerry just dump it off and CJ just coasts to the 1st down marker.

I guess it all kind of makes sense though right? I mean we were a 10-6 team last year… Throw a gamebreaker like CJ into the mix along with an experienced QB and off we go.

I really hope everyone is sitting back enjoying this, I have been a fan of this franchise for a long time. Seasons like these don’t happen often for guys like me Titans/Indians fan.

I will make that thread roll call list at least once this season… I love that!

Was Norm Chow correct about his attitude? I didn't like what I was seeing after that INT to Harvey. The way he had his head down while the coaches were trying to talk to him. Bad news. Get it together VY.

Sorry for not being around to do the threads with you fellow fans today. Due to Thunder storms Saturday my sons pop warner game was conveniently rescheduled for today Sunday at 1pm. How lucky am I?

Bitter/sweet/bitter/sweet and more bitter/sweet. I got to see my sons team kick ass again, I got to miss the 1st 2 and a half quarters of the game, I got to see us play the last quarter and a half, I got to see VY get hurt, I got to see us win, and I got to see our fearless leader look like a fearful terrible leader. What a day!

Vince Young: Its time to do something. I have no idea what. Something is not right with his attitude, I don't know if he has been spoiled by the Titans. I don't know what to say. Actually I do have something to say. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd say this, but he is holding back our football team. I cannot support a guy that is not there for the rest of the team. These guys will go to war for him and from the way it looks the feeling is not mutual. The shit he pulled today I would never expect from him, maybe L.T. or Reggie Bush's punk ass but not Vince. I know some of you are gonna kill me for getting on him like this but I have defended him long enough. I don't feel he's done enough to deserve any more free passes, especially with the way he acted today. I do love him. I do hope he straightens himself out. He just needs to do something to prove to me that he is the right guy to lead this team. As everyone can see we have a really good football team. What's missing? Other than a couple of WRs of course.

I'd like to go on with my feelings on this but its been a long day. Good night. 1-0 Hell Yeah!

Joy Kat: please no comments from you

My random not so random draft thoughts

K... So I was fuming yesterday. Had a few drinks and didn't want to say much after I saw our first pick. Really glad I didn't.

After sleeping on it and giving it some more thought today, I like the Chris Johnson pick. I had said over and over I didn't want to take a RB having picked Chris Henry and Lendale in the 2nd rd over the last 2 drafts. If the Titans had him rated as their top player available in the skill position/playmaking threat category and they don't think Chris Henry is the guy for the job, there is no reason to waste any more time on him in which case I have no problem with the pick. Its becoming pretty clear Johnson was one of a few guys they had targeted for the pick and it wasn't just a shot in the dark. I think we have historically drafted well as an organization, so I trust us if that makes any sense.

This pick MIGHT represent the Front office telling us they F'd up with the C.Henry pick, and I can respect that. It happens to the best of us. I emphasize MIGHT because realistically we could also make the assumption that the Titans love Chris Henry and think he and Johnson are the future backs for this franchise not Lendale. I know, it looks ridiculous to me as I type it. Henry to me showed in his small sample of playing time that he has the size and speed to make plays, big plays. Lendale has not. Maybe we are looking at a future tandem of Henry/Johnson, just a thought.

Obviously a lot of us were way off projecting the WR talent in this draft. When the 1st WR to go is Donnie Avery and its in the 2nd rd I can now look at it and say it would have been a mistake to take one. Thats coming from someone that wanted a WR(Devin Thomas) more than anyone.

The only player I'm really baffled we passed on is Merling. I thought he was a great fit for our defense. I don't claim to know as much as Fish or M.R. so I can't question the move, especially seeing as 2 D-lineman went before Merling after we picked.

I don't know enough about the dude J.Jones we picked in the 2nd rd to even comment on it. I will just say I really hope our front office did some great scouting and got a steal. Fish says a few teams called directly afterwards and said they were ready to pick him with their next pick. I would say that also if I was in his position. Who knows?

Craig Stevens- Hmmmmmm A TE? Disagree with the pick.

We have Crumpler, Scaife, and we just signed Blakley. Why Why Why? I would rather have spent the money on Hartstock than spend a 3rd on a blocking TE. Hartstock was very good in this role. They are saying they can develop him into a downfield threat due to his speed, what about the ability to run routes and hold onto passes?

William Hayes- Who? What? Whatever. Again I hope Fisher and M.R. are as smart as I think they are.

Latrell Hawkins- Great pick. Dude was tearing DBs to shreds the whole Senior Bowl week. He seems to play much faster and more athletic than the combine and pro day numbers. Looks to me like a natural. I think we are going to be really happy with this pick down the road. I'm counting on Paul Williams, Roydell, and Gage to be the Wrs that give th biggest contributions this season. Maybe we get something out of Hawkins, that would be a great bonus. As for Paul Williams I'm just going on a hunch. Brandon Jones sucks! And he's done nothing to prove otherwise.

Keglar- Key letters Keg. Sounds like a good prospect.

Cary Williams- Hopefully we get lucky and get another Finnegan.
