Does Jesus hate the Chiefs or is He just a bad punter?
We've all see Dustin Colquitt point to the sky and bless the Lord when he makes a good punt. We've all also seen him hang his head with pointer fingers curled and tucked away when he shanks it out of bounds 20 yards down field. The former best player on our team (Ha Ha what a funny joke I've heard used 1000 times in KC, bleh) had two chances in overtime to bury the Cowboys in their own end zone which could have given our defense a better chance to limit Miles Austin miracles, hopefully force Dallas to punt from their own end zone (which more often than gives the other team the ball on the good side of the 50), and could even give the Chiefs a shot at a game winning safety.
But instead, the Altar Boy FAILED twice to even get the ball inside the ten. Now i didn't watch him after the first punt, I was busy hanging my head... But I know what I saw after that second punt in OT. It was a group of Beisel-less Chiefs waiting to pounce on the football when it hits the one yard line. But they never had a shot, for the ball was fair caught by Crayton at the 21 yard line. Praise JESUS!!!!!!! Point to the Sky!!!!!! Both hands now, just one isn't enough!!!!!! Apparently Dustin Colquitt could not have blown his most important punt in the last year without the Holy Spirit flowing through his washed up leg!!!
I don't get it. He's not curing cancer, he's not saving orphans from a burning building, hell he's not even throwing a TD pass. He's punting. I put up with his pointing shenanigans when he was young and good. When he used to kick that googly knuckleball I'd even say, "Hey maybe there is a higher power making that ball do what it does." But now he's a below average NFL punter, and the pointing has to stop. For God sakes, you look like a douchebag, Colquitt. Pointing to the sky after you FAIL a punt is embarrassing to all of Kansas City no matter what your religion. The only time you should be pointing to the sky is when you receive your paycheck.
Sadly, our new hope at Kicker is mimicking Colquitt. Hey Succop, stop it. Knock it off. Don't do that. But at least he's scoring points.
PS I just pointed to the sky after I completed this little article. God said to me, "Stop it you douche."
The Titans, Ravens and Chiefs might be the only teams interested in signing Michael Vick. That’s what ESPN’s John Clayton said on ESPN Radio’s Brock and Salk when pressed about NFL teams’ interest in the troubled quarterback.
Remain calm. He's done his time. Now lets win some football games.

Chiefs are not picking LB Aaron Curry.
Good conversation on a busy day. Thanks! -Chris
I know, I know, I love Aaron Curry too. Any team that drafts him will likely have the most dynamic defensive player in the draft and a future pro-bowler. But Chiefs fans, why is Curry the most logical and likely choice in our minds? Sure we need defense and especially LBs. How can all of the sudden we think that we have figured out the Pioli Puzzle and know what the secret club's next move is? We all know the majority of Chiefs fans resigned to the fact that we weren't going to go after Matt Cassel. We were wrong. It was so obvious and staring us in the face. So why now overlook the obvious draft choice?
Here's what we know:
1. We just added a OLB in Vrabel, and we wooing Clark Haggans at Arrowhead today. So we are now looking at drafting Curry to play the inside and have Haggans or Vrabel contribute as a reserve?
2. Scott Pioli won multiple Super Bowls with inferior talent at wide receiver, but in the most recent Patriot turnover and facelift he helped engineer 2 mega trades to become great at one certain position. Draft day trade of 4th round pick for the most talented receiver WR ever Randy Moss and also a trade package of a 2nd and a 7th round picks for promising wr, now stud Wes Welker.
3. Todd Haley rode the backs of his wide receivers just short of a Super Bowl victory. Its no secret Todd likes to throw the ball around. Why expect him to build defense first when there are so many holes on this team? We've got our version of Anquan Boldin in Dwayne Bowe. We've got a better QB now than present day Kurt Warner in Matt Cassel. Too bad a Larry Fitzgerald is almost impossible to come by....unless of course you have a high pick and Michael Crabtree is in the draft.
As Curry is the most dynamic defensive player in the draft, Crabtree is the offensive version. He is can't miss. He is going to be a Chief. He is going to be great. If you believe that Michael Crabtree will score more than twice as many TDs than Curry will cause turnovers then you need to jump on the bandwagon too.
It's all happening.

Chiefs News on ESPN Insider
There are two Chiefs headlines for view on ESPN Insider:
Cassel to Chiefs Likely
and
Haley to Chiefs Likely
Would someone with a password please cut and paste these article as a reply. Thanks.
PS I overheard Pioli and Rivera talking at dinner about Cowhers 4 new houses in KC. Gruden has signed a lease to live in one of them and Haley has a layover at KCI on his way to Hawaii. There 75 words.
