Have attended Jet games since Shea Stadium.Love Rex's dad and therefore was thrilled that we signed him to coach.Favorite all-time Jet is Mo Lewis. Favorite all-time player is Walter Peyton, because he was an even better person than player and his numbers speak for themselves.

Needs for off-season?
Everyone in the GG-Nation seems to think that the Jets most pressing need is at WR. Yes WR depth should be addressed either late round draft or thru free-agency, but the Jets should not waste future draft picks or mega bucks on this lack of or perceived lack of depth. One of the first things that the Jets should do in my opinion is worry more about overall team depth and preparation for the future. Picking as low as we are in this draft and hopefully in future drafts is one reason that we should first address the lack of depth in the d-line and d-backfield. Yes the defense played well in the playoffs but the hole created when Jenkins went down was a huge one.The draft seems to be rather deep in def tackles and one of the top 5-6 tackles should be available when we pick. Also our d-backfield is in need of a hitter.Picking where we are could also land us a smash-mouth or cover guy that could help stabilize and give us some depth. The third need we have is also some form of insurance for Sanchez-I don't think that Kellen is the answer for this and Brad is a wildcat or 1-2 game QB.Lastly I would like to see some TE help, yes Keller really improved his blocking but it would be more beneficial to Schotty if we gave him another weapon for the looks like a run pass or the looks like a pass run. I don't know who Rex will have rated high that could fall to us as Shonn Greene did last year, but I hope the draft team can give us another sleeper that someone overlooked. We are in good hands!!!!
The Jets might already have their man!
The wide-out controversy is just that, a controversy. How much do the top wideouts catch the ball? We (the jets) do not need to add one of these kids that is a problem to society, if they were not playing in the NFL. Give the wideouts we have a chance, it has been shown that it takes at least 2 seasons for a wideout to be acclimated to the rigors and system of the Nfl. Not to mention become in sync with his QB, run precise routes, get used to seeing all the defenses, and get a further understanding of what exactly is expected of him. We have a couple of receivers that are entering that window and if the OTA's are any indication then we might already have that breakout receiver on our roster. I was in Floram Park and all the receivers showed why they are in the NFL-especially Wallace Wright, who really showed that he is ready to take that next step. Jets Fans have finally been given a Defensive Whiz that is going to put pressure on a QB and help the O by taking some of the pressure off them. The Offense will improve, but lets see if some of the players we already have can step up.No reason to add a player who will bring any more drama than we already have with Mr. Sanchez, who hopefully will shut up the nay-sayers.
