Thought some would be interested to know that a new marker has been placed at the same site. This marker seems to differ from the original one since the story behind the phrase "Way out in Left Field" has been omitted due to the original marker's perceived insensitivity towards mental health patients. I noticed that this was added recently given that there was no marker a couple of weeks ago. As a Chicagoan and baseball fan, its good to see this reminder of the past  there.

I have taken two photos of the marker  which are saved on my desktop however I'm having trouble uploading them. This is my first time uploading images on SB nation, so any help would be appreciated.
