Went with my dad to see the new stadium on Saturday. When we got to the top teir we found our section but a funny thing happend. We couldn't find our row. Row 6 wasn't there. We had the right section and there was no rows 5 or 7. We've been assigned to a handicapped section. 3 rows for handicapped/wheel chair? We didn't request special seating. We did ask to be put down as low as possible since my father is 74 and shouldn't be forced to climb stairs. Lots of other people were puzzled. Most of them were older but none were in chairs. After going through 2 people about this issue we were directed to a table to make our complaint known.

Apparently the giants were waiting on a final decision about these sections (which go around the whole top teir). After throwing loyal season ticket holders away and forcing those left to pay PSLs I find it very hard to think that the "smart" people in charge of this operation would fail so badly at this detail.

The sections are about 8 ft wide with no seating. These sections are also flat. So those of us in row 6 would have to look over the shoulder of those in row 5. One guy with 6 seats in row 7 simply walked away. He has been a holder for over 30 yrs.

Great story in the Sunday NY Post about steel beams being in front of seats. The person sitting there will have no view other than a steel post. Great job to those intelligent people who thought of that.

To the Giants: You stopped caring about your fans the day Mr. Mara died. You wanted to keep up with the Jones's, literally. You threw away the very same people you claimed to love dearly. If this issue isn't resolved I wish a pox upon the house of Mara.
