I'm confused as to why Blair dropped so far when a lot of what I was reading (fan and NBA insider alike) he was a mid first rounder and a probable solid contributor right away. But I'm even more confused as to why he didn't end up on this increasingly young Bucks team. Could Blair have been the PF this team has been lacking for decades ... a true PF? It seems no one really would have guessed he would have dropped so far, but he could have been a Buck! What would it have taken for SA to simply include a 2nd round pick in the very lopsided RJ trade? My guess is that if Hammond was just a bit more adamant, he could have gotten that 2nd rounder that ended up being DeJuan Blair! And furthermore, SA has been known for evaluating talent and, given their choice for Blair in the 2nd round, it seems if they were willing to gamble on Blair, there must be something there.
