Quarterback Nick Marshall's status within Auburn's football program remains undecided following his weekend citation for marijuana possession, Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said Monday.

Jameis Winston signs a UF fan's baseball Cap with...

...GO NOLES! Gotta love it. Got it from a friend's facebook page: "To the fan of the school in Gainesville who asked Jameis Winston to sign his hat before the game yesterday. I hope you like the finished product lol. Go NOLES!!!"

Auburn's Dameyune Craig frustrated at lack of Head Coaching opportunities

Auburn co-offensive coordinator Dameyune Craig, 39, is frustrated in the lack of interest he has received as a head coaching candidate... "What more do I have to do?" Craig asked. "I’ve coached two first-round picks (Christian Ponder, EJ Manuel). I coached and recruited a Heisman Trophy winner. I went to a team that was 3-9 to playing in the national championship. I don’t know what else I need to do to be considered a coach."

Remember Aaron Lynch? decommitted from FSU for Notre entering NFL draft

Decommitted from FSU... Went to Notre Dame for 1 year. Left, sat out 1 year. Transferred to USF, played 1 year. ...and now he's leaving early for the NFL Draft. Just think of what could have been, Aaron Lynch, Timmy Jernigan and Mario Edwards.

Breakdown of Auburn's Offensive Scheme - X's and O's

Ran across this site while researching Auburn's offensive scheme. Great info with diagrams and video.

Christian Ponder #1 in the NFL in completion percentage

While everyone talks about Cam Newton, Andrew Luck and RGIII...Ponder flys under the radar. Beat the 49ers Sunday, one of the leagues best defenses, if not the best.

Ohio State recruit decommits after convicted sex offender associated with program

Urban Meyer back at it... An Ohio State recruit has told the Buckeyes he will not attend the university, according to several published reports, amid concern that a convicted sex offender had interactions with players and recruits associated with the program. ''You don't want your son to go to a place where there's a potential issue,'' Sal Anzalone told the Eagle. ''You expect the staff to have some sort of control on how things are handled with recruits when they visit. This is ridiculous.''

Chris Rix on Miami Bounties: "They Never Knocked Me Out of the Games"

Rix, still somewhat surprised by the news of the bounties, is proud that the Hurricanes players never accomplished their monetary goal. At least that’s the message he’d tell former Canes linebacker Jonathan Vilma, who reportedly made $2,000 from hard hits on the quarterback. "If I saw him, I really don’t know what I’d say. I’d say ‘I know you got offered $5,000 to take me out of the game. While you got a lot of good hits on me, you notice you never took me out of the game — I always finished. So I’m sorry you never got the full $5,000 check for taking me out of the game.’" "I do remember a few late hits — some of them were called, some of them weren’t," Rix says. "I remember one specifically in the 2003 BCS Orange Bowl game, after I had thrown a pass [Jonathan Vilma] came in and led with his hand. He got it inside my face mask and gave me a black eye. I don’t remember that being called as a late hit.

NFL speed throws rookie QB Christian Ponder for a loop

Vikings coach Leslie Frazier saw a day like this coming for Christian Ponder, the rookie quarterback who threw two interceptions in situational drills after a few positive performances. Ponder's biggest adjustment is the speed of the game, he said. Starter Donovan McNabb is helping him with that process. "It's called being a rookie in the National Football League," Frazier said.

Vets don't show at practices run by Vikes rookie QB Christian Ponder

Workouts that rookie quarterback Christian Ponder organized for his new Minnesota Vikings teammates didn't draw as well as he hoped, with several veterans backing out of Wednesday's session in Bradenton, Fla. Wide receivers Sidney Rice, Percy Harvin and Bernard Berrian, running back Lorenzo Booker and tight end Visanthe Shiancoe were expected to join the seven players who worked out Tuesday at the IMG Madden Football Academy, but they were no-shows Wednesday, according to The Star Tribune.

Greg Hudson: "Christian Ponder is the next Roger Staubach...he gave me headaches during Seminoles practices last year."

FSU Linebackers coach, Greg Hudson, pays huge compliments to Christian Ponder. Hudson said Ponder gave him headaches during Seminoles practices last year. "I'm not telling you that he is [Staubach] right now, but he has the attributes to be a Roger Staubach-type of player," "Ponder put the team on his back and made things happen," Hudson said. "He did that for about the whole month of October. He didn't even flinch. The kid, he'll lead anyway he has to, by example, by being vocal, by being tough. I'll tell you what, if my oldest son [Garrett] grows up to be like Christian Ponder, I'm one hell of a father."
