Congrats thibs
For all the second guessing about his rotations and belichick-ness regarding injuries, we ought to remember how lucky we are. Could have had diantoni. And had vinnie and boylan.
No Wade's fault...he learned it from his daddy.
Wade's dad ejected from UC for whining like a little bitch (with profanity). Awesome.
David Thorpe prefers Stephen Curry to Rose:
Az (Chicago)
Are you still standing by your statement that you'd rather have Steph Curry over Derrick Rose? Or would you like to apoligize for making such a ridiculous statement?David Thorpe (12:42 PM)
I'd still choose Curry, call me whatever you want. But I'd rather have Rose with the game on the line in an iso.
Sheridan: Rondo on the bubble? Rose to start again.
[From the FanShots. Can't argue whether this is a great move or not for the team, I'm just happy Rondo may have some disappointment in his life. -ed.]
Season predictions?
When was the last time that you could say the Bulls have three legitimate all-star candidates going into the season? In my opinion Rose/Boozer are locks and Noah is more than likely (probably would have been close last season without injuries as he was leading the league in rebounding for stretches of the season) to make the East all star squad. If the Bulls record improves a bit it can't hurt their chances either. What does that mean?
Teams with three all stars in recent history (I'm lazy):
Team Year Wins Season finish
Boston 2008-2010 50-66 Champ/Semi/Finals
Magic 2009 59 Finals
Pistons 2008 59 ECF
Teams with three potential all stars for next season:
Miami obviously, anyone else............besides the Bulls
I'm just saying
It could happen
If it does what does it mean for the Bulls season?

Simmons chatting now.....
joe (chicago)
Look into your crystal ball and sort out where the big free agents are going this summer!
Bill Simmons (12:08 PM)
If I had to guess at gunpoint: LeBron and Bosh (Chicago); Wade and Amare (Miami); David Lee, Joe Johnson (New York); Rudy Gay (Clippers).
"I have absolutely no desire," says Kahn, "to build a team that perennially wins 40 to 45 games and scratches and claws for the first round."
Don't you wish you would ever hear something like that out of Paxdorf's or Reinsdorf's mouths.
Sources: Rambis will be Wolves coach
Does this inspire any Vinnie bashing from the Blogabull faithful
Lakers pull offer to Odom
Does Odom intrigue the Bulls at all? Sign and trade for Hinrich? Insurance for Deng and another player who can bring the ball up the court when/if Hinrich is moved?
DeJuan Blair DNP?
Anyone know why he didn't play. His knees bothering him already?
Andre Miller to Blazers? (ESPN insider)
Don't think this is a new rumor, but I am not an insider so I don't know if there is any new info here
[From the FanShots. Front-paged for obvious VDN parallels -ed.]
Chad Ford just reported in his chat that the Pistons have fired Michael Curry
Why Amare?
I know most the posters on here are drooling for Amare and that this has probably been covered in previous posts (particularly around the time of the trade rumors last year), but can someone please make the case for me? Why is Amare so much better in your eyes (yfBB) than Tyrus? Bad knees, bad eyes, uninterested defense. If we could get him straight up for Tyrus I could see your point, but other than that I don't. Weren't Tyrus' combined blocks & steals in the top five or close? isn't he younger, healthier and tougher? I would love to see a case for the value in trading for Amare when you consider what else we are going to have to give up, that he has ONE YEAR left on his contract, and has health issues?
