OT: Taking pleasure in Vick's misfortune
Ahhh, Schadenfreude. If there's one thing that saved the day Sunday, it was the news that our favorite POS, Michael Vick, has suffered a broken hand. This should keep America's most notorious animal abuser out of action for a few weeks. Awww.
To add to my shameful joy, now Mikey is whining to the media that he's not being treated fairly by the refs. I guess this represents another step in his continuing growth as a human being. Only an immature jerk would place the blame on his offensive line's pathetic blocking, right? Of course, simply keeping his big mouth shut isn't an option when you're an overpaid "victim" like good ole #7.
The Eagles are repeating the mistake the Falcons made in building an offense around this miserable excuse for a human being. It speaks volumes about the lack of class in Philly's organization; they deserve every bit of misfortune it brings to them.
I'm crossing my fingers that Vick's career concludes in true Joe Theismann style before the year's over. That would be as close as we'll ever get to conclusive proof that God exists.
