This should help with continuity but not with false starts and on-field brain farts.

Man, the eagles have had to endure some tough losses this preseason with the death of JJ and the loss of Bradley but this guy is just an idiot.

How are you driving around getting high at 12:30am 10 days before preseason of the NFL? I'm sure Reid will classify this as "no big deal" but this can't help the mindset of their defense right now.

Troy has zero faith in this team, even after an impressive win over the world champs. Is this post-playing jealousy or just plain douchiness?

Lighten up Troy, we still love you.

Is this TO's final season as a Cowboy?

Well just as this team seemed to get its collective head above water and start making a run, TO shoots off his big mouth.  He questions Redball's playcalling and blames his lack of production on the offensive system.

What bad timing.  The guy has been a model teammate all season, especially under the duress of trying to catch wounded ducks from rubber-arm Johnson but this latest rant is totally uncalled for.  I am sick of this kind of stuff and would have no problem cutting TO after this season.

His production has dropped off dramatically while his drama has not and now with RWII in the mix, he is not as vital a cog as last year.  See how the guy plays the year out but I would have no problem next season with the boys rolling out RWII at #1, Austin at #2, Crayton at #3 and keeping Hurd for #4.  That gives us youth, speed and good hands without having to listen to TO's crap.

I know I'll get some heat for this but ask yourself one question - Is TO the elite reciever we all saw last year and is it worth him dropping public bombs like this one?

Update - Well TO finally got off and had a great game.  I remain extremely disappointed in his comments, both the tone and the timing and wish he had just let his play on the field do the talking.  Hopefully he can see the opportunity he has with RWII and stop worrying about his own touches so much.  Let's hope he turns today into a springboard and helps propel this team to the SB!

Where's the faith?

Okay fellow BTBers, I need to know.  How can you be hopeful for the rest of this season?  How can we expect Wade to fix the things he has not begun to fix all year?  How can we hope Redball will return to his status as "offensive whiz kid."

Last Sunday, I officially lost hope.  Watching that Rams game, I had a sinking feeling in my stomach and a loss of energy that took me back to the Campo days.  I see varying degrees of optimism and pessimism on this blog and I want to be optimistic, but I can't find any reasons to do so.

Our O-line stinks, our secondary is a mess, our players look confused and beaten and our head coach keeps saying "Its my fault, I'll fix it."

I have no doubt that Wade WANTS to fix it, but I don't think he can.  If Stewart was really that bad, how come it took this long for him to recognize that?

This post is not meant to bash our team, I really want to know - how do you guys keep faith?  What can I cling to as our season goes down the drain?

Stop the Insanity!

Just thought I'd try a different fanpost than the dozen "Romo sucks" ones that were posted in the last 24 hours.

Yesterday's win was ugly, but was a win.  Did everyone rake the Giants over the coals when the Bengals took them to OT?  Did anyone notice that the Chargers lost yesterday to MIAMI??

I get it, the expectations going into this season were sky high and the cowboys are only playing above average right now.  I agree that some of the coaching decisions leave me scratching my head and Romo has got to knock off the brain-fart fumbles and picks before he blows an important game.

But read through the DMN blog and you see a team that is sick of answering to overblown expectations.  You see defensive players and coaches who are tired of answering the same questions.  I barely skimmed through the fanposts today because they are so negative and whiney that I can't stand to read them.

Go check out TH's latest post.  The Cowboys are 4-1 and nothing they do in October will have anything to do with the playoffs.  They are in a similar spot to the Giants last year with the media hounding them, players questioning the coaches aloud and a huge amount of doubt in the fanbase.  Remember how that turned out?

Just chill fellow BTBers.  Enjoy the journey of the cowboys this season and thank the Lord they are not going to go 5-11.

It's all about the hype

Yea, I know guys, this loss sucked.  We are angry at JG, Romo, Wade and everyone related to the defense.  The thing to remember is that this Cowboys team has been over-analyzed, over-hyped and over-scrutinized since early August.

This is one hell of a team, with so many weapons on offense and defense and a ton of marquee players.  This raises our expectations and a loss like this makes us all crazy.  It doesn't help that everyone in the media goes into overdrive after a loss like this and jumps up on their "I told you the Cowboys were frauds!" pedestal, just itching to see them fail.

Take a look at Matt Mosely's column - the guy who once wrote for the DMN seems almost giddy in picking the Cowboys apart.  He calls out Tank Johnson, sings the praises of Jim Zorn and calls the boys the "Sultans of September", a backhanded compliment if ever there was one.

Last time I checked, the Eagles lost to the Bears.  The Packers lost to the Bucs and the Pats got blown out by the Dolphins.  Welcome to the era of parity, the Cowboys are no different.

This loss was painful because it was the dreaded Redskins but the Cowboys are 3-1 with a lot of season left.  Don't get crazy and call for an overhaul of the team.  Everyone knows they crapped the bed and will work to fix it.  This is one hell of a team and what better cure for a painful loss than the Bungles this Sunday.

Enjoy the ride and don't let one loss ruin your week, I GUARANTEE this team gets it's sh*t together and gives us some postseason fireworks.

Man, aren't you glad we cut our losses with this guy? I remember when he hurt his knee, the cowboys described it as "possibly career threatening". Looks like it might be after all.

This is an article about 10 players who will never win a SB ring. Some make sense, like Jason Taylor and Tony Gonzalez but others are simply idiotic. TO, Randy Moss and McNabb are all on there so these morons must think that three of the best teams in the league can't possibly win the SB in the next few years. Just a turd of an article.

My friends call me Pacman...you can call me Adam

I really like the way this guy is competing and the things he is saying.  I know the whole "Tennessee sucks" thing wasn't great, but this Q & A on DC.com is a good read and shows the fire this guy has to compete.

He also sheds some light on his nickname - When the media asks him why would he shed his nickname Pacman -

JONES: I'm not really shedding the nickname. That's just for ya'll that I'm shedding the nickname. All of my teammates call me Pacman.

Anyway, looks like this kid is doing and saying all the right things so I feel confident that this controversial trade by the Cowboys is going to pay huge dividends when the season starts.  Another A rated GM move by the organization.
