January 2 Bowl Games
I thought i would open up a post for the Bowl Games today. There are allot of good match-ups today with possible pro prospects in each game. Anyone here scouting the Games to see whom you would like the Buffalo Bills to draft? Who are you looking at? How about Case Keenum torching the Penn St. Defense? How about Jeffery running wild on a really good Nebraska secondary? Let's hear your thoughts Bill's fans and talk about the possibilities. What say you Bills fans..... ??
QB's to watch this coming season in the College Ranks
I'm sure many Bill's fans are a little disappointed that we did not draft one of the top QB prospects in this years draft (I'm sure i was not the only one). But rest assured, next years crop could yield some great future stars, especially if the 3 juniors come out for the 2012 draft. I will also put down key match-up games in which they will have to play a top defense. To me after watching football for many years, especially college QB's getting ready to enter the NFL draft, that how they play against highly ranked defenses are a telling sign of where i would draft them. All defensive ranks are from last season, so this season I'm sure they will be a little different so you might want to keep an eye on the changes to the ranks for this coming NCAA season.
1. Andrew Luck (Junior) Stanford- key games: Sept. 17 @ Arizona (defense rank 33), Nov. 12 vs Oregon (defense rank 34), and Nov. 19 vs California (defense rank 18)
2. Landry Jones (Junior) OU- key games: Sept. 17 @ FSU (defense rank 42), Sept. 24 vs Missouri (defense rank 47), and Oct. 8 @ Texas (defense rank 6)
3. Matt Barkley (Junior) USC- key games: Sept. 10 vs Utah (defense rank 27), Sept. 17 vs Syracuse (defense rank 7), Oct. 1 vs Arizona (defense rank 33), Oct. 13 @ California (defense rank 18), Oct. 29 vs Stanford (defense rank 21), Nov. 19 @ Oregon (defense rank 34).
4. Kirk Cousins (Senior) Michigan St.- key games: Oct. 1 @ Ohio St. (defense rank 4), Oct. 22 vs Wisconsin (defense rank 20), Oct. 29 @ Nebraska (defense rank 11).
5. Nick Foles (Senior) Arizona- key games: Sept. 17 vs Stanford (defense rank 21), Sept. 24 vs Oregon (defense rank 34), Nov. 5 vs Utah (defense rank 27)
6. Ryan Lindley (Senior) San Diego St.- key games: Oct. 8 vs TCU (defense rank 1), Oct. 13 @ Air Force (defense rank 37), Nov. 19 vs Boise St. (defense rank 2)
Other key notables that will be Seniors this season and eligible for the 2012 NFL draft are: Ryan Tannehill - Texas A&M , Terrelle Pryor - Ohio State , Kellen Moore - Boise State , Brandon Weeden - Oklahoma State ,
G.J. Kinne - Tulsa , Chandler Harnish - Northern Illinois , Case Keenum - Houston , John Brantley - Florida , Dominique Davis - East Carolina , B.J. Coleman - UT-Chattanooga , Austin Davis - Southern Miss , Matt Simms - Tennessee , Jordan Jefferson - LSU , Jacory Harris - Miami .
