One thing that i want to say to the raiders coaching staff and players, thanks for a great game and thanks for dewinging those eagles. You played ur hearts out and won and the raiders sail again.

I luv the Raiders always have but i get tired of these so called Raider lovers that hate on their own team, Calling russell a failed quarterback and all that jazz. First of all this is Russell first real year with maybe seven pro games under his belt. Come on jerks what are u mad at his signing bonus or something. Second thing both of his wideouts are hurt or simply sitting on the sidelines chill'n. The rest are rookies or 3rd string WR, enough said said right? We all said we bleed silver and black so if thats so give your quarterback a chance before you go the water cooler at work and talk that stuff about Russell and you know who you are to!!! Anyways if your gonna blame someone blame the ref for the reason we are not 2 and 0 with Russell at the helm. GO RAIDERS

Now I know that the signing of RS is great and our D-line is better by far but to me we're missing that X-factor that raw dogg middle or outside linebacker that gets in there and cracks heads but also makes plays. Now AL if u visit this Raider site "im asking" - why not Brooks for one year? 

It'll bring the raiders back to its roots as a defensive powerhouse at least in our division.

It seem to me that Cable has his watchful eye on the linebacking corps by bringing in Greenwood and others in to camp that he thinking about bringing in another LB with game to free Morrison to do more without so much burden
on his shoulders.

1yr is all i give him because frankly thats all that i think he has left in the tank to play at a high level.

As a comparision LOLB Jon Alston gave u 34 total tackles last year in 14 games in 2008, now even in a off year Derrick Brooks got 73 total tackles, 1 Pick and 1FF in 16 games. I rest my case......

Its seems like last week things were looking up for this great team, we beat the hell out of the cowgirls. Making smart choices and signings on D-fense. I felt like any minute the smart signing of someone that could put us over the hump defensively was about to scroll across the ESPN ticker. But it seems like our season "that hasn't even started is starting to vanish inside that same Black hole of Raider b.s."

I know that the media has it for the Great Raiders and their owner Al Davis. And because this story with Cable has turned into a national story, now the NFL get to sink their teeth into this and make things worst just to protect their product and money.

Now the choice to release Neal is something I dont understand either. "Our we going backwards or forwards". Are we trying to make d-line better and are we trying to win our division? This is preseason, the beginning of something better not week 14 with the season being lost.

How come we stop moving in the direction of winning even with the destractions. How come positive infomation and signings cant flow while the negative information still hangs over camp.

The silver lining out of this is that it only preseason and things can change but the Raider exectives have to want to win not just say it, they are going to have to push through the drama and spend some money to make this team what it should be... Great!

Even with all the bizarre behavior lately, good signings and decsions can put this team back on the tracks of success. hopefully the edge of this storm is over. GO Raiders

The NFL is soft man.  This is suppose to be a mans league
Blood , Sweat and Tears right and sometimes a broken Jaw. Believe me Henson has enough money for the best drugs if it was that bad...but see that what football used to be smiles and frowns. Beer and cookouts, belingerate talking and high fives and a QB that being scraped off the field by a Raider DE is alright.

 Some thing might need to have a police report attached to it and some might need to go federal prison for the things they do. But sometimes things need to stay I the boundaries of manhood and what it means to be a man without it being spread all across the internet and cable. Look Football is Football Stuff happens. Whats up RaiderNation... Looking around free agents that our still out there is
Dewayne Robertson a DT that played for the most hated Broncos last year. T.Sands is a bust, we all know that and
Ryan Boschetti isn"t working out that great either.  William Joseph seems like the next big thing concerning the D-Line.....hum only if Derrick Burgess was still here right. I also think the addition of Dewayne Robertson would push    Gerard Warren and  T. Kelly  to lift their game play. I would also be inclined to work out  Travis LaBoy ; a Small (DE) that played for the cardinals last year. Even though I feel that our DE needs are not that pressing. Our secondary is another issue though, and maybe another good CB to push  Nnamdi Asomugha would be nice. My vote would be the ex-Texan Dunta Robinson, he's been hurt recently but has alot of upside if we could find a way to get him for a couple of years.  Chris Johnson could help in CB duties and be used more in the Dime. It would give our secondary time to rest and get there legs under themselves.

On the offensive side of the ball maybe... WR Reggie Williams and WR Matt Jones both played for Jacksonville last year ,and from what i here Matt Jones had a good one.

 Wishful thinking I know but at least work them out!!!

First of all, to say that our season is in crisis because our number one receiver is out is plain stupid. As a long time Raider fan I know we"re still two years out from making our make our mark. We need more meat on our D-line poss. a name thats been floated around is(DT) Shaun Rogers from Cleveland. Im thinking a trade for Fargus to upgrade our d-line is good, Especially if it helps stop the run i.e. Cowboys first team ran all over us because we get no push up field. Defense win Playoff games and Superbowls. Even Cable said our goal this year is the division, which means we our in the first phases of something great.

Even if chaz finds a great doctor and somehow heal this injury before opening week, doesnt mean the chargers wont run over us. We have to stop the bleeding of our first seven allowing double digit runs from scrimmage. I believe that our wide receiving corp is good enough without chaz for a week or two.

The addition of Greenwood and Manning show we are moving in the direction of better defense in tight situations, but that d-line is the difference between division champs and bottom feeders. RaiderNation has to know thats more important than one receiver.
