Hi,

My name is Jason, and I've been married for almost thirteen years and have two beautiful girls ages twelve and five years old. I live about sixty miles outside of Los Angeles and commute back and forth everyday (hopefully, when my wife graduates college at the end of the year, we can move closer). We moved here from my hometown of Portland, OR. over eight years ago. I work for a company that does market research for the studios. I originally moved down here to break into the industry as a writer but got a little sidetracked (what with having to support a family and paying bills and all). I'm starting to try to get back into the writing and follow the dream. I've been a life-long Trailblazer fan and have already started my girls down that road. I make them watch the games with me. I'm glad the team has turned around with a bunch of guys that I be proud of. Well, that's about it. GO BLAZERS!!!!!

To me, if Drexler didn't have Porter to ride shotgun with, I don't think that incarnation of the Blazers make it to the Finals.

This team already has too many retired numbers, and in my opinion only Walton, Lucas, Drexler, and Porter numbers should be retired.

I feel the same way with Walton. I was too young to remember seeing Walton play at his peak, so in my heart, Drexler will always feel like the best ever.

Good list, but Kersey was a small forward, and Robinson could slide between power forward and small forward.

Yeah, that has been the disappointing thing about Drexler, since he left Portland. Sometimes it feels like he gives the impression that he barely played here.
Commented on Sizing Up LaMarcus Aldridge's Desire To Be Best Blazer Of All-Time on Jul 15 2014, 1:49p
The only recent Blazer that I've seen a similar killer instinct like Clyde was Roy and, now, Lillard.
Commented on Sizing Up LaMarcus Aldridge's Desire To Be Best Blazer Of All-Time on Jul 15 2014, 1:42p
Even though, I started watching the Blazers before Clyde and the gang got started, it was those late 80s and early 90s Drexler Blazers that got me hooked, so that would be my choice.
Commented on Portland Trail Blazers: Fans, Players, Media, and Portland History on Jul 15 2014, 1:28p
Exactly, Lebron's gamble isn't as much as Aldridge's would be. The most memorable endorsement I can remember for LaMarcus is the one last year with Lopez.

You would think that he and his agent would've already thought of it, but maybe, they didn't realize it until the details of Lebron's contract came to light.

I think, last year, Olshey signed Mo after summer league which might've been a reaction that CJ wasn't ready to run the offense.

I don't think we will see any more Blazer moves until after summer league, so they can gauge where the young guys are at.

Panic move, maybe, from Miami. It's funny if the incumbent team had to overpay to retain their free agent, when it is usually the other way around.

I agree the bigger story would be going back to Cleveland, but I would think there would've been more positive stories coming out of yesterday's meeting with Miami.

I'm leaning towards Cleveland, but I could see him sign a short deal with Miami to put pressure on them to improve the team.

Ariza will be the big winner after Lebron signs somewhere because there have been reports that Ariza is a lot of teams back-up plan.

There seems to be a lot of momentum towards him going back to Cleveland, so I would be a little surprised if he doesn't go back.

Of course, if Lebron and Bosh do leave, they will have significant cap room, so they could shore it up a little by signing Deng or other decent free agents.
