I am looking for a BHGP'er who lives in Chicago and is planning on going to the jNW game. I would like to see if I could go with you and possibly stay at your place. I will pay for food and then also reciprocate the favor by letting you stay at my place the following weekend if you would like to go to the Indiana game. Two other BHGP commenters are staying at my place for the Indiana game. It should be a good time and I am making a prime rib to celebrate the Iowa vs. Indiana weekend.

BTW if anyone needs a place to stay for the Indiana game, I do have some space available. I live in Muncie, about 2.5 hours away from Bloomington. Game time is 1:00 PM EST (I think), so we could leave about 8:30 AM and be there in time to do some tailgating or whatever.

George Wine, University of Iowa's SID from '68 - '93 died at the age of 81.

George Wine was a great story teller. I read every one of his articles he wrote for HawkeyeSports.com, his book Black and Gold Memories, and the book he helped Hayden Fry write, High Porch Picnic. if you haven't read any of his books, articles, or even High Porch Picnic, I would recommend that you do.
