I just picked up my copy of Madden 10 yesterday, and I just thought it was humorous that on the back cover they have Isiah Stanback hopping over someone to make a catch.I have no idea why the people at madden would pick him of all people to put on the back cover since thats more playing time than he has actually seen or probably will ever see. I just think thats kinda funny, thats all.

Just a quick hit, for those of you who were hoping to pick up Gibril Wilson in FA, well it looks like that option is gone. Sportscenter this morning had breaking news that he has agreed to some sort of 5 year deal with the Dolphins. Damn Bill Parcells.

I was really hoping we could sign him. He is great in coverage and still relatively young. Too bad, we will need to address this somewhere else now.

I recently read that the Bears have cut Mike Brown. I know he has been injured quite a bit but wouldnt he be an upgrade over Roy Williams 1? This is just speculation on my part, and although I do not know a whole lot about him, I know he has been great for the Bears when healthy.

Also, Dre Bly was released. Looking at him may allow us to move A. Henry to safety, although based on the horrendus excuse for pass defense that the Broncos had last season, we are probably better off without him.

Im a student at Virginia Tech and for my Media Writing class I have been assigned to create a blog. Obviously being the rabid cowboys fan that I am, I chose the cowboys as my subject. I would appreciate any views, feed back, comments or anything that you guys would be willing to offer me on my new endeavor. So far I have only gotten one post up, but will be writing on it regularly. I appreciate anything you guys have to say and would love to have as many visitors to the sight as possible.

Thanks,

Why Jerry, why?

Of the idea of this.

In an interview on CBS' NFL pregame show, the oft-troubled cornerback said that not only does he expect to play football next season, "I think I might be back in Dallas."Host James Brown then asked: "And you have an inkling that Jerry Jones will give you another shot?"Adam Jones grinned and said, "Yeah, I do," but didn't offer any details to back his assertion.

To me, this was one of the best things we could do this off season. If you saw his play in the Philly game, you have to know that he isnt a team player, and as a team struggling with an identity, we do not need him, along with tank, and in my opinion, T.O.

I really hope this isnt true.

So im sitting here watching the Eagles and Vikings game, and the first quarter has just ended. The thing that I have heard the most from our beloved commentator is how he frequently likes to reference how much the Eagles beat up on the Cowboys last week. This has happened atleast nine or ten times in the past fifteen minutes, which I think is ridiculous. I think he goes out of his way to put the Cowboys down, and he makes it sound as though he played with the eagles and is going to bed with Donovan after the game tonight. I just think its ridiculous.

I can not for the life of me fathom why anyone would ever say this about another human being. Yet alone another collegue.

"If I got a gun I got one bullet in it, I shoot T.O. right now. Right on the spot. I have a press conference my first day they hire me, I have him come, I put a bullet right there sitting in him"

Given the recent gun problems in the NFL, let alone the crazyness of speaking of murdering someone simply because you do not like their attitude, why would you ever go on national radio and say that. I can not believe more of a stink has not been made about this. I know its from profootballtalk.com, but its kind of hard to make something like this up.

Cris Carter is an abomination

After some problems last week, it looks like Colombo finally signed his deal. He is a real mauler, and in my opinion has had the best season of anyone on our O line. He image of him roaring at the tiny Cato June from the Bucs game has been stuck in my mind. He brings a ferociousness to our team that we need. He has been a steal and one of Jerry's better gambles.

Details in the link.

For Tony Romo to be the Fedex Air player of the week. Doesnt really mean much but its nice to see our boy recognized, especially since he is going up against the cry baby Donovan McNabb. Here is the link, Cowboys represent!

Tony Romo Highest Rated QB after week 13

Just checked in on NFL. com and saw that our boy Romo is at the top of the league for passer rating, beating San Deigo's Phillip Rivers handily, 103.2 to 100.5 . Given that he has done most of this with a brace on his hand, it speaks huge amounts about his skill and vision as a quarterback. I will be at the Pittsburgh game where I only hope he makes their defense look miserable as the rest of my family (steelers fans) watches in misery. Everyone said Romo cant play defense, or block defensive tackles, but him coming back has definately provided a key spark to our offense.
