As Emmert has stated before, he recites that paying players won't happen while he is at the helm - and I agree with him on this one.
Spike Lee wants them paid. IMO if you have a base-line pay for all players...boosters etc will STILL funnel $$/etc to the blue-chips to entice them to their team - so the cycle will never stop...

Yes, "Oregon" is one of them; so I'll discount it. PSU, Auburn and South Carolina. USC is in his backyard; so I'm still guessing this is where he is leaning, since this is "sortof" A-typical for that region. If he doesn't stay home, my guess is PSU - but have not heard any banter at all from his visit to SC...
(75...he'd be a nice add, WE ARE...loaded in the backfield...but I want him to say he loves PSU!)

Seems like its been a VERY long time since PSU has had offensive players ranking in some of the top categories...check-out ESPNU's updated "stats sheet; here's some off the cuff: (going by memory...sorry no link)
Clark - 11th best passer efficiency rating in the nation
Royster - 7.8yds/carry of the best...he has 66 touches. If you thin the list out to rank players with 50+ touches I believe he is in the top 4!
Royster and Kevin Kelly are in the top 20 for points scored...though there are many "ties"...
PSU is 4th in avg. pts per game...

I went to the Panthers/Colts game Saturday night...good crowd for a preseason game.
DC LED THE TEAM in tackles with 6 (if i recall correctly). Tim Shaw was in on special teams and in the 4th quarter was in @ LB.
It was cool to see them "hanging-out" on the sidelines together. I hope Tim makes the cut again...he is F A S T!

As the report goes, yesterday BOTH Baker & Taylor have been removed from the team.
I have mixed emotions on this...I'm not sure about all of you; but I am confident that I do not know all the facts (kept behind the scenes, that's the way it goes) only know what I read as do you all.
I thought they were re-instated though?
Besides the recent OTL reporting, did anything else happen that was "bubbling behind the scenes?" Again, I thought they were "back-on the team." I am not suprised they are gone; but hate the thought that if they were "that close" before all of the crap that has been stirred-up ( and since Sundays show ) this all could have "smelled" alot better if this action was taken awhile ago.

Picture this: last regular scheduled game of the season & last home game (of a Great Season); Joe's decision is still unclear as to whether he'll be back on the sidelines after the Bowl Game...
