Fitz & the post-June 1st designation: a question of why.

As Mike Florio mentioned on PFT, the Bills used the post-June 1st designation on Fitz. I'm not completely sure I understand what happened here. Did the Bills save cap space this year by operating...

Glenn gets some love from ESPN

+

Cordy Glenn gets ranked as the 7th best rookie in the NFL by Matt Williamson of espn insider (5th last week). This is what he had to say: Glenn was inactive in Week 5 due to his ankle injury. The Bills were also without starting guard Kraig Urbik. The wheels might have come off in Buffalo, but that doesn't mean Glenn isn't worthy of this honor.

Fitzy on the Dan Patrick Show - 1/19/11

+
Full writeup: Our beloved quarterback joined Dan Patrick and the Danettes during hour two of the show to preview the Jets game and talk Buffalo Bills football. Available on podcast, tv, or by going to danpatrick.com. The highlights: Fitpatrick played all four teams and shared a few nuggets on the defenses. "The Jets do the most stuff ... the Steelers aren't necessarily as exotic," Fitzpatrick said. Fitzpatrick emphasized that the Jets have to take advantage of the underneath stuff to win. Regarding the Bears-Packers, Fitzpatrick said both defenses are very good. "The Bears defense is a bend but don't break defense. You have to be able to take advantage and convert on third down, and then score touchdowns instead of field goals," Fitzpatrick said. Fitzpatrick talked about Buffalo coach Chan Gailey saying Fitzpatrick was the Bills' quarterback of the future. "For me it's exciting to have an entire offseason ... or whatever offseason we're going to have ... to get ready for next season," Fitzpatrick said. Fitzpatrick also said that he no longer has the big beard. "I trimmed it up the day after the season," Fitzpatrick said.
