Ridiculous, Funny Bammer Video

Absolutely hilarious video of a drunk bammer watching the va tech game and going insane... enjoy it.

I hate that there has to be 75 words to make a fanpost, i don't feel like people pay very much attention to the fanshots so that seems kind of useless to post things there. besides comments on the video, do people indeed read the fanposts?? i can't imagine that a lot of folks do.

Tubberville's New Job...

According to recent commercials that are being run on ESPN, Tubberville will be providing live, on air coverage of signing day and help by providing his insight on the potential of the recruits as well as the overall impact that he feels the player will have on that team.

I'm glad to see him getting some consulting work like this and I would love to see him become an on-air personality. War Damn Eagle!

OK State Running Back Coach to Auburn - More Info?

AL.com is reporting Oklahoma State assistant coach Curtis Luper is heading to Auburn.

I don't know anything about the man personally but, based on the statistics listed on the article, he seems like a very solid hire. I believe CGC may just be getting on a roll here! The article sounds like it is a done deal and he is already hired. I'm sure more information will come out as time passes...

Here is the source for it:

According to this article, he was one of three coaches nominated for at least one RB Coach of the Year awards this year (2008):

Alabama Crimson Tide running backs coach Burton Burns has been named “Running Backs Coach of the Year,“ by FootballScoop.....

Others nominated for the award were Curtis Luper of Oklahoma State and Cale Gundy of Oklahoma.

Break From Football -- Real Life

While I know Auburn fans come from all over the world, but I also know the majority of us are from / in Alabama with many being from the Birmingham area. Those of us from around this area are more than familiar with the Rick and Bubba show. Well, as some of you know, Rick's youngest son (2 years old) tragically drowned last weekend in the family swimming pool during the night. I know for me personally, I've loved these guys in the past and even though I don't hear them here in Auburn anymore, growing up in school with his daughter and meeting the family multiple times, this still broke my heart. Here are the 3 YouTube videos of Rick speaking at the memorial. I CHALLENGE anyone to listen / watch these and not be at least somewhat affected, cause I know they have messed with me a good bit... I hope you will all keep him and his family in your hearts and prayers.

Lou Holtz Should Retire

While watching the WVU vs. USF game tonight, the commentators at half time were discussing 'pick-em' for this week. Of course, the Auburn vs. Florida game came up and TWO of the commentators picked Auburn as the upset over Florida, yet Lou Holtz still chose the Gators (which, is not where my beef begins) As the half time show progressed, the commentators continued discussing the decision and Lou Holtz went on to say that an Auburn victory over Florida would be the equivalent of SWANEE beating Georgia Tech. I think that says enough about his mental state / age (as if his constant lisp due to loose-dentures wasn't indicator enough) I just feel like that was about the dumbest / most offensive comment I've heard about any first rate football program in quite a while.
