Well, we all know what happened this weekend.  Our Broncos throttle someone handily in two quarters and the best coaching staff in the country let's off the gas in order to let the backups get some time and let the opposing team walk out of their home stadium with some semblance of pride, rather than humiliation.  The 100 or so folks that are the real Broncos did all they could to play their game, coach 'em up, make 'em strong, maintain some class, all in the hope that they might be rewarded for their efforts.  That's all they can control.  They'll go out on Oct. 26, and for five more games after that and do the same thing.  That's what they do, and they're damned good at it and inhumanly humble about it. 

But Bronco Nation (that'd be us) seems to take it personal when the right things aren't said on some 45 minute commercial on the four-letter network for the most hated conglomeration of money grubbing scumbags ever assembled that also has the audacity to have a website with a .org domain name.  The actors in that commercial are paid blowhards who spew their own special flavor of venom that they've cultivated over many years of being spineless, brainless twits.  It's their schtick. Kinda like Dice Clay and Sam Kinison had their schtick.  The network bills these actors as analysts, yet one of their "finest" uses the term "sandwich game".  Seriously?  Folks, I don't think we're supposed to take them seriously. Comedians, maybe, but that's even a stretch.  Comedians have talent. I refuse to take any of them or their employers seriously any more.  Any of 'em!

One of these years.  Probably not this one.  Probably won't be this team.  (we all know this team will never be a Cinderella ever again) But one of these years, some team will take these comedians down and this farce known as the Bowl Championship Series will cease to exist.

Just enjoy watching these young awesome kids and their coaches do their thing.
