Wat up guys, well since we are looking for depth i think we should really really consider getting Juan Pierre....

He had a horrible spring training, and Joe Torre is trying to trade him away and put him on the waiver wires thing.....

He has 50 plus SB in the last 3 years and he has a whopping 0 HRs last year but the year before he had 3, so who knows? he's also a .295 hitter.....

what do u guys think

Lol. I was watching sports center when they showed the top 10 plays of the day, and Joey Gathwright was #1 with him hurdling over some pitcher. The announcers mentioned he jumped over a car and that is was famous on youtube....
I was in a middle of a break from writing a paper, so i decided to check it out to see if they were serious, so i had to check it out.... I didn't think it was possible. now i will share...

My Fantasy baseball league over b4 it begin

I wanted the Rays to pick up the Kaz Matsui and make Aki an SS, but that didnt happen, so i decided to draft him in my Fantasy league, and this happens ='/

Mar 12 2B Kaz Matsui rejoined the team Tuesday after being diagnosed with an anal fissure and changing medications. Matsui is expected to return to the lineup Friday at the earliest.

it gets worse....

Mar 14 Alyson Footer, of Astros.MLB.com, reports Houston Astros 2B Kazuo Matsui (anus) will undergo surgery Monday, March 17, to repair an anal fissure. The expected recovery time for the surgery is two weeks.

Well, depth is great, but well I believe that Navarro should be our starter 100%

although overall he may of had a crappy year, he had a really good second half along with momentum for this coming year.

I remember when we traded for hiim and everyone thought this was the greatest move ever; we got rid of an aging, annoying catcher, while adding a potienntly great prospect catcher..... thats when i developed a man crush for this guy. it hasnt stopped yet

Navarro second half was good with average being at .285; that was 3rd best amongst all catcher in the AL, he threw out 31% of SB attempts, which was 10th best in the majors. he also has youth in his side, hes gonna be 24 when the season starts,
i believe we need depth, i say bring back casanova, but im excited to see Jaso start in AAA.

he bring seats to the trop, and he left handed batter right?
Im pretty sure he not expecting to get paid alot since noone really wants him, and when he get hurts the younger player can get more at bats, and maybe we can trade him for more young player by trading deadline? I dont know.... what do u guys think?

Rule 5 draft question

Well, I'm still new to this and im not quite sure with all the rules when it comes to off season acquisition, but ive noticed that we are trying to "protect" some minor leaguers from the rule 5 draft.....

I think that its safe to assume that since we are trying to protect our prospects, i am assuming that other teams are doing the same......

I remember when the Reds took Josh Hamilton, and i was wondering if there is anyway we can pick up a good reliever, the same way they took Josh from us with this concept of the "rule 5 draft?"

and.... what do we lose by gaining these players..

Aki should play 3rd

I find it a little frustrating that Aki is going to be forced to play in second, I understand he doesn't mind, but 3rd base is the position where he won the 6 gold gloves!!!!

Why make him change whats he already supberb at???

AND... he needs to change, why not make a SS
I would love to see him play SS and we can bring in a KAZ MATSUI who is a free agent into second.....
give him a japanese person for more interaction.....
