manny going to L.A. bunch of bullshit, manny shoulda ended up a red sox for life, if he kept his mouth shut, but he wants attention and now look at you manny, playing for a classy team like the red sox to a shitty L.A. team hope your happy cause there is no way your going to get a 4-5 year deal worth 100 million next year, good luck

Will Jason Bay be a good fit under the bright lights of Red Sox Nation?

red sox get rid of manny, moss, hansen, and pay off 7 million dollars off mannys contract to get jason bay?? i thought they would get more than jason bay just for manny, instead they lose 3 players and money to get bay who will be unpredictable coming from a last place team to a team thats contending for the penant. This will be Bays first year in his career where he is actually competing for something that matters which could bring alot of pressure to him especially playing on a red sox team that gets alot of attention from media, fans, etc.. on top of it, the biggest pressure of all is replacing manny's bat, that's some big shoes to fill. One positive thing out of all this is that manny wasnt coming back next year so atleast they got something for him instead of waiting out the year and then letting manny go to free agency and end up with nothing, but by October everyone could be saying we should of kept Manny. Bay has 1 more year left on his contract after this year and sources say if Bay doesent work out they could be trading him for a player like Holliday. Why couldnt of they just traded for Holliday this year or maybe even have a shot at Adam Dunn? Dunn would be slamming balls left and right at fenway with the power he has. Even though his BA is .243 he has 32 hrs. Bay is a great hitter, batting at .283, 22 hrs and 64 rbis this year for the pirates, which is good, but only time will tell if he can stand up to the pressure and be competitive in the AL. By October we will know if the trade will crumple

Will the Manny Ramirez stay another year in Boston? He'll be making $20 million if he stays one more year. He's 36 years old has about 270 hr's in Sox uniform 509 in career, how could they let a player with such talent go? Who would replace him? All i know is that he plays very well when it matters most and that's the playoffs. On top of it's just fun to be around him he brings alot of good chemistry to the team.
It would be such a shame to not see Manny finish his career in Boston.

Bruins definetly needed some offense last year especially against the Canadiens during the season and postseason which they fell short on. Adding Michael Ryder from the Canadiens definetly will boost that. Few years ago Ryder was a 30+ goal scorer, tooooo much pressure in Montreal, last 2 years he's only averaged 15 goals a season. This could be a turn around year for Ryder especially playing on a line with Marc Savard could easily turn him to a top scorer on the bruins squad. With Patrice Bergeron and Manny Fernandez coming from season ending injuries, adding Ryder to the mix and a healthy Bruins blueline, could be a great year and playoffs for the Bruins.

I think we have enough bats in our lineup to get us in the post season w/o Papi, having Papi back would definetly make us stronger but what i truly believe is that we need to trade for another solid starting pitcher to get us through the 1st half and going into playoffs. Schilling probably not coming back anymore so we need a replacement, we cant trust masterson, bucholz, or even lester yet, they are too young to step up in the playoffs, they might get us in the playoffs but we need that 4 solid punch hit. What if beckett or matsuzaka went down towards the end of the year, we need that insurance and Eric Bedard would be that solid fit, dont you think? I know mariners are looking to rebuild and want to get rid of bedard why not give it a shot. He's on the DL right now but when he comes back he would really help out especially with all that success at fenway park. <!-- TOKEN_1216592677138_TOKEN -->Hey we are a championship team and we should do whatever possible to keep it that way not wait, hope, and see.

Before the All-Star game Derek Jeter stated that Yankee fans are the most intelligent fans in the world, not in this country but in this world?? hmmmm One thing i do know they are more intelligent than the yankee team, i mean come on Arod cheats on his beautiful wife with Madonna?? this lady is old enough to be his mother not mentioning shes been around the world about 5 times already, hehehe. Hey Arod do you know from who Magic Johnson got AIDS from?? Guess!! haha, i think every1 already knows the answer. First they said arod had taken roids now Madonna?? roids and aid more like RAIDS. Giambi admits to taking roids, roger clemens is on the roids list, all they need to add is another washed up player like bonds and the roids family is reunited. We can keep going about the management and other players, but you decide whos smarter the yankees or the yankee fans, i would say neither especially when your located in the middle of the slums:Bronx, haha
