Keys to an 18th Banner

There are a few key things that have to happen for the Celtics to get an 18th banner. One of the few things is they have to have a healthy Kevin Garnett. Another thing that has to happen is Rajon Rondo has to step up and improve his game, if he can be an effective player the Celts are definitely contenders for that 18thbanner. And the final thing that the Celtics have to do is have a good bench, they need a bench that can come into the game in score 20+ points. I think with the addition of Rasheed Wallace the Celtics will be the team to beat this year

Jacoby Ellsbury Left Out?

This years all-star game american leauge outfield reserves are Carl Crawford, Curtis Granderson, Torii Hunter, Adam Jones, and Ben Zobrist. The only problem i have with this list of reserves is, why isn't Jacoby Ellsbury on that list? Ellsbury has had an outstanding season so far. He is hitting .303 with an on base percentage of .351. And to add to that he has stolen 35 bases this season. If you compare his stats to Ben Zobrist or Curtis Granderson you will see that he has a better batting avg. than them. I think those are some pretty good reasons Ellsbury should be on the all-star team.
