I

If I remember correctly, the first game was one of the worst for the fins special teams coverage and return units and baltimore was basicly starting at around the 50 or better the entire game while the fins were back inside their own 20. Something that has improved greatly over the last few weeks is the fins coverage and return game and I believe the poor play of those units was the real reason the ravens won the first game, has anybody else thought of this?

OK so why did Miami fail in week 6. In my sincere opinion it was because Sparano played it safe. We are not good enough to play the game safe, we need to be aggressive like we had been. 4th and an inch if that at mid field and we punt into the end zone? Again this team is not good enough to just sit back and win games, they need to go out and make some gutsy calls and take the games. This style of play reminded me of the old DW days… Not interested

OK well I would be lieing if I said I wasn’t surprised with both these guys record and more importantly the quality of the the games they have played so far in this first quarter of the season. Every week they improve and its amazing to watch a team that has either scraped by with luck or have just down right played awful the past few seasons. Its just very exciting and when I read the news from around the league this team is still viewed as garbage which is a huge motivator I’m sure for the fans of our Dolphins to keep making noise. This weeks NFL power rankings still had the dolphins unranked, why I honestly don’t know, clearly Vic Carrucci doesn’t actually watch the games because the past two games the Dolphins have looked better than any team.

If I was coach

Ok so I've been thinking about what you could do as a coach to assist the rebuilding team, and here is what I have.

1. Find away to get the ball to Ginn: The Dolphins need to find away to get Ginn open this week, If you watch the replays look for Ginn and watch him being man handled at the line basically taking him out of the play. If I was coach I'd be sending Ginn in motion on every play to try and create some confusion and separation for him. Possibly even line him up in the backfield. SOMETHING!!! He sure wouldn't be sitting on the bench though.

Well week 2 has come and gone for the 08 Dolphins, and for the first time this season (including the preseason) the Dolphins looked the way everyone one thought they would…. bad, real bad. However it’s important not to be discouraged with our team, like we have in years past and here’s why. Believe it or not, the defense played hard. This was just a simple example of an offensive coordinator taking advantage of the miss matches in a game. We have a very small secondary ( keep that in the back of your minds so when we draft a less talented but bigger stronger secondary help this upcoming off season you will know why and wont call Sparano out on his decision… this team needs more size back there. ) On the offensive side of the ball, the line showed a lot of improvement over last week.. Hopefully this week they can improve on the basic concepts of being a receiver. (though at least Camarillo showed us something… still no sign of Ginn though) All in all even if the Dolphins brought there A game, the end result still would of been the same. The Cardinals had all the mismatches in there favor.

Madden 09 Tips

Ok so for those of us struggling in Madden 09 while playing with the Dolphins I present you with this, the Madden 09 tip line.

Make sure you update the roster!

First pick any passing play that has at least one back in the backfield.

While waiting to hike the ball, have the receiver on the left side run a right slant. (usually will be Ginn)

Have the back also run a right slant.

Have the receiver on the right side either go deep or running a left slant.

Now hike the ball and immediately pump fake once and then roll out to the right.

Look for the reciever running the right slant, he will be open.

If for some reason he’s not take a look at the rb running the slant, and he will be for sure.

Works on any difficulty and deffense. Good play for 3rd and long.

check out www.miamidolphinsnation.com for more info.

Leave your own tips below.
