I'm not trying to steal anyone's thunder, but are any of you guys on the conference call tomorrow morning at 9 AM pacific with Dana White, Anderson Silva, Okami, Forest Griffin, and Shogun Rua? If not I could throw in some quotes that people would find interesting or insightful into this thread. I'm in the Las Vegas Media and figured any way to share some good content is a good thing. I just started to cover MMA on my show and love how friendly the UFC is with the media.

Hey guys and girls,

I recently got into Mixed Martial Arts because of my job, and because the sport is truly entertaining. That being said, I don't claim to be some expert in MMA and I might need some help. I co-host a radio show in Las Vegas called Sports X Radio. Tonight we happen to have Joe Duarte and possibly Jorge Gurgel in studio to do a live interview.

I'm honestly not trying to whore out my show lol; Are there any specific questions I should key in on? I really am just a fan getting into the sport and any well thought out questions would be much appreciated. The interview should take place sometime between 7-9 pacific... not sure when Duarte is coming in (these things seem to change by the minute), and like I said, we might be getting both guys. You guys can listen to the interview at KDWN.com if you're outside of the Vegas area.

Trying to break up the monotony of the work week here. I got this idea from the Los Angeles Kings blog Jewels From the Crown. If you guys/girls aren't into hockey you should give it a chance starting tomorrow! You couldn't have picked a better time to get into it as the Kings are in an exciting race to the finish.

The names didn't turn out to be as good as some of the Kings cat names, but I guess that'll happen when you have a bunch of Eastern European guys with awesome names.

i don't know. I'm guessing one will come up soon, but i'll post this just in case. Anyone watching the Yankees fail? hah hah hah. I don't really care, I just don't want the Giants to win. What am I even talking about?! It's time for Kings Hockey. I'm pumped, but I hope the Poni-Hand-Meat line picks it up. I know it's still early. Anyways, Fuck yeah. Just a thought: Someone should totally buy (and i'm not sure where one would buy this) one of those Burger King "King" costumes! It would totally rival the Green Men that Vancouver has and it's more in line with our actual name! That dude is pretty disturbing. maybe someone will do it if we get to the next round..anyone? anyone?

i'd totally do it but i live in Colorado so thats a no go. If the Kings miraculously meet the Avs in the Conference Finals you'll see me next to the penalty box in costume.

I think we need to make Juan Pierre the 2nd to make the game as a write in candidate as the other 3 Dodger outfielders are the ones that made the ballot. I love Manny as much as the next guy, but I think it's ridiculous that he's 4th in voting for outfielders, at least as of yesterday. 

Fun Fact: Garvey also ended up being the MVP of that Allstar game in 1974.
