Question about the Offseason
Okay, so, I'm not a Jets fan, I'm mainly just a sports fan that plays fantasy football, has no specific team, but follows it very closely and has a lot of friends who have their own teams. But if I must have a team, I usually roll with the Texans.
Now here's the situation...my friend is a Jets fan, and once you guys signed Jason Taylor, he says 'Boo Jason Taylor' and starts complaining about all the players you've gotten this offseason and their off-the-field issues.
The players he's referring to are of course Antonio Cromartie, Jason Taylor, and Santonio Holmes.
My question is....are Jets fans upset about these players coming like he is or are you all excited about the active leader in sacks, a former Super Bowl MVP, and a very good cornerback joining your team despite the fact that Taylor has said many a time he hates the Jets, Cromartie has baby daddy issues, and Holmes has his different issues.
Are their issues worth it, or is it like signing Terrell Owens and Pacman Jones?
My opinion: They do have some issues, but none of them are the egotistical types that are locker room cancers, therefore, he should be happy about this offseason and move onto the draft where you guys have no dire needs and can play the 'best player available' game.

Craig Kimbrel Future Closer?
"Kimbrel comes from a three-quarters delivery and generally sits in the 93-95 mph range with his fastball, which has outstanding movement, tailing in on righty hitters. In fact, the ball appears to stay up and defy gravity. It's a little tough to pick up, and on occasion he has dialed it up to 98 mph. Then again, he also has had to back it down to the 90-92 mph range just to locate it. You can call his breaking ball whatever you want -- scouts generally note it as a slider, Kimbrel calls it a curve -- but batters just call it nasty. One scout referred to the pitch as a "knuckle-slurve," the first time I had heard that term, and it does seem to fit since it has tight sweep across the strike zone. He also has a rarely used changeup that pales in comparison to his other two offerings."
"He has a chance to be an almost untouchable reliever in the big leagues, but I can't overlook the control issues at the moment, and that's why my short-term outlook for him isn't as promising as his raw ability would dictate. One comparison I've heard is Joel Zumaya, and I kind of like that one."
Ha, Nother Brave to the Royals
I liked this kid when he was coming up and I hope he finds his way with the Royals., but seriously Kansas City? Seriously? Another?
