This is not a new development, but Tim Dierkes of MLBTradeRumors.com now believes that he can be had for a package of mid-to-top level pitching prospects, as the Cubs are looking to restock their weak pitching pipeline.
With all of our mid-level pitching, do you think it would be smart to consider dealing for Matt Garza? Even if not, a little rosterbation never hurt, especially during the dull weeks leading up to the December 5th Winter Meetings in Dallas.

Even though we're not even close to being half way through the 2010 season (thankfully), I found my mind wandering earlier today, thinking about what kind of fireworks would go down during the upcoming offseason in Detroit. Plus, without a game tonight due to travel to Seattle, I needed to satisfy my craving for some Tiger baseball. Hit the jump for speculation.
