Life-long fan. I remember my first game was bat Night in 1977. Everyone attending got a 30" Adirondak Wood Bat that you could actually use. From the way my dad tells it, it was the last time they gave those bats away as guys that had to much to drink were fighting in the cheap seats with them.
By the way, if ANYONE has a ticket stub from that game, PLEASE let me know. The date of the game was April 25, 1977.
