That Rule 5 time of year is almost upon us, as 40-man rosters need to be set by the 20th. Seems like just decades ago that Ryan Goleski earned his way out of here and Matt Witney was a National. Thanks to the Cardinals, we don't have to worry about Brian Barton getting dealt for Mark Teahen. Who will we keep? Who will we say goodbye to? Who will we say goodbye to, then hello again to? How long till ESPN reminds us that Johan Santana was once a Rule 5 selection?

The Indians current roster sits at 34 by my count. I don't think they will max it out to 40 and I also feel like they did their trimming when the likes of Bullington and the gang were not snuck through waivers a week or two ago. But, let's presume they don't make any other moves between now and the additions. I know this has been touched on in passing in some other threads, but let's consolidate. Who would you add? I figure 4 for sure, and possibly 5.

Completely stealing the list Tony Lastoria put together here:

PITCHERS (20):
Arias, Carlos
De La Cruz, Kelvin
Dixon, Kevin
Edell, Ryan
Finocchi, Michael
Herrmann, Frank
Jimenez, Jose
Lofgren, Chuck
Martinez, Anillins
Mendez, Sandy
Montero, Joanniel
Ness, Joe
Newsom, Randy
Nottingham, Shawn
Riera, Jorge
Roehl, Scott
Rondon, Hector
Smith, Carlton
Stevens, Jeff
Wagner, Neil

CATCHERS (4):
Castillo, Alex
Gimenez, Chris
Martinez, Richard
Santana, Carlos

INFIELDERS (8):
Aponte, Juan
Arnal, Cristo
Brown, Jordan
Head, Jerad
Head, Stephen
Infante, Jansy
Pinckney, Brandon
Velasquez, Isaias

OUTFIELDERS (8):
Constanza, Jose
Crowe, Trevor
Cumberbatch, Cirilo
Denham, Jason
Goleski, Ryan
Montero, Lucas
Rodriguez, Angel
Valdes, Juan

MLFAs (22):
Burton, T.J. (RHP)
Buzachero, Eddie (RHP)
Camacaro, Armando (C)
Cannizaro, Andy (INF)
Chaves, Brandon (INF)
Cooper, Jason (OF)
Espino, Damaso (C)
Ginter, Matt (RHP)
Gonzalez, Andy (INF)
Haad, Yamid (C)
Halama, John (LHP)
Harris, Jeff (RHP)
Lara, Juan (LHP)
Larrison, Preston (RHP)
Linden, Todd (OF)
Martin, J.D. (RHP)
Panther, Nathan (OF)
Romero, Niuman (INF)
Sardinha, Bronson (OF)
Slocum, Brian (RHP)
Weaver, Jeff (RHP)
Whitney, Matt (1B)

I'd roster Santana for sure and Stevens, Gimenez and I guess Crowe because you figure someone would take him. They'd take him, right? If there's a fifth, I'd hang on to De La Cruz even though he's crazy young. I guess that means I'm dangling Lofgren.

Who you got? Would you dump Aubrey, Marte or one of our relievers to add more?

It contains a handy schedule that breaks out TV and Internet viewing. I’ll shamelessly request people rec this Fanshot so that it pops up to the top and stays handy throughout the tournament as the Indians season continues and LGT content pushes the schedule down/off the page.
