40-Man Decisions - Who ya Got?

That Rule 5 time of year is almost upon us, as 40-man rosters need to be set by the 20th. Seems like just decades ago that Ryan Goleski earned his way out of here and Matt Witney was a National. Thanks to the Cardinals, we don't have to worry about Brian Barton getting dealt for Mark Teahen. Who will we keep? Who will we say goodbye to? Who will we say goodbye to, then hello again to? How long till ESPN reminds us that Johan Santana was once a Rule 5 selection?

The Indians current roster sits at 34 by my count. I don't think they will max it out to 40 and I also feel like they did their trimming when the likes of Bullington and the gang were not snuck through waivers a week or two ago. But, let's presume they don't make any other moves between now and the additions. I know this has been touched on in passing in some other threads, but let's consolidate. Who would you add? I figure 4 for sure, and possibly 5.

I'd roster Santana for sure and Stevens, Gimenez and I guess Crowe because you figure someone would take him. They'd take him, right? If there's a fifth, I'd hang on to De La Cruz even though he's crazy young. I guess that means I'm dangling Lofgren.

Who you got? Would you dump Aubrey, Marte or one of our relievers to add more?

Under this plan, the price of advance Diamond Box seats will fall in a range of $35-85, Field Box will go between $25-70, Infield Lower Box will be $19-50, Lower Box will be $18-44, View Box will be $14-36, Lower Reserved will be $24-30, Upper Box will be $20-24, Mezzanine will be $18-22, Bleachers will be $16-20, Upper Reserved will be $12-16 and Outfield Reserved will be $8-9.

Lee likely to start 2009 at Kinston

The Tribe once again dipped into the international waters and signed Taiwanese right-hander Chen-Chang Lee to a Minor League deal Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not announced.

A candidate for next spring's World Baseball Classic, Lee will report to the Tribe's fall instructional league in Goodyear, Ariz., this week, and he'll likely begin his professional career at Class A Kinston next season.
