One Bronco Nation Under God The BNP – Season 5

The Bronco Nation Podcast is back for its 5th season.  Epic isn’t it?

JT Ray, Tyler Dalling and Travis Hawkes come together to recap the offseason related to:

  • The Mountain West invite.
  • What the last year in the WAC will be like.
  • Idaho vs. Boise State Future
  • Should College Athletes be allowed to Twitter?
  • What we have learned from fall Camp.

Additionally, Travis gives some excellent insight regarding Bronco Gear, though we tried we could not get a scoop on the Special Nike Uniforms to be worn by the Broncos this year.

The show is sponsored by The Blue and Orange Store and by the iOS App Bronco DB

One Bronco Nation Under God Podcasts

I wonder with the new 5 Minute* OBNUG podcast and the Bronco Nation Podcast, how do you listen to the shows?  As a Mac user and huge fan of anything iTunes, I use the podcast feature in iTunes to listen to all my podcasts via my iPhone, but I am sure everyone is different.  Also depending on your connection, downloading a show may take some time.  So with that I thought I would throw out a little poll.

One Bronco Nation Under God Could the Big 10 (Actually 11) Expansion Effect Boise State

I came across this article on ESPN today.  In it there is talk of the Big 10 (Actually 11) looking to expand to 12 teams.  I am sure this isn’t big news for most.  But of the possibilities it lists the Big Twelve’s Missouri Tigers as the top candidate.  Unrelated note Missouri’s Coach has the Broncos 9th in the last BCS poll.  Anyway if Missouri were to end up being the team, I wonder what the domino effect would be.

Looking at teams that could fill from non-AQ schools that are in the general area would be TCU.  Given they were part of the Southwest Conference back in the day and are in the general area (Time Zone).  I don’t think Boise State would be an option for a number of reasons, but if TCU were to move to the Big 12 I wonder if the call from the MWC would follow.  Just food for thought, as we wait patiently (anxiously pacing back and forth) for the bowl game.

Looks like the B&O Store got a little ahead of themselves this weekend. However, good on them for keeping the dream alive.

Vitrue, an Atlanta research firm that monitors social media — such as Facebook, YouTube and blogs — ranked the top 25 teams in order of online mentions over the past nine days.

Not cracking that top 25: TCU.

And Cincinnati ranked 21st, while Boise State ranked just 24th.

Congrats to OBNUG for getting BSU in the Top 25.

One Bronco Nation Under God Call in and give a shout out to the 2009 Seniors

Update,

Please have your call in by this Saturday as I would also like to put them on CD for the guys.  Very Few calls, Bronco Nation Show your love.

The 2009 Senior Class may not be the largest in Bronco Football history, but they are as important to Bronco Football as the previous year's Seniors.  On Dec 4th, barring a major upset and the world turning upside down, FB Richie Brockel, WR Michael Choate, S Garcia Day, RB Andy Silsby and CB Kyle Wilson will walk onto the Blue one last time as Boise State Broncos.  I thought it would be best that Bronco Nation say a few words thanking them for their contributions to Bronco Football.  So I am asking that you send a shout out to the 2009 Seniors by dialing into 208-991-2672.  After all the calls have been recored I will put them together in to one audio file that I will have available for download.  Once again the number to call is 208-991-2672.  Thanks
