Would love to have Mosley as a Bronco. Doubt he or Shazier fall to us but I would be happy with either.

What is intersting is that Brock Coyle led the team in tackles last year (i believe) with 125, and actually plays MLB. He also ran a 4.6 at the Montana pro day.

Easier for OT to switch to G in the NFL than for a G to play T.

Elway doesn't devalue the MLB role at all. We just don't have a 3 down MLB who can cover. If we did then they wouldn't leave the field.
Commented on Hello from Bleeding Green Nation on Apr 21 2014, 6:56p
Hope he can be a pro bowl caliber G. This could mean we draft Antonio Richardson in 2nd round

Disagree with your opinion yet again. Why waste a 1st round pick on Hyde when you can get a very comparable RB in:

Love all the options we could have. Fuller, Tuitt, Shazier would all make my day at #31. I am a resounding NO on Borland in rd 1 or 2. I like Roby but would rather have Fuller personally.

McD should have never tried to fix his throwing motion. Just let the kid do what he did in college but work no reading and progressions. He spent so much time trying to fix it that he

From that standpoint then yes they have value. No value except to educate about prospects and to have fun speculating.

and maybe he isn't. I love the measureables and the production to match it so I think he would transition well to the next level with a decent defense around him.
Commented on Horse Tracks: The Broncos are interested in Ryan Shazier? on Apr 20 2014, 2:56p
I think he does have the range personally. 15 INT in his college career and 4.5 speed. He is a guy who to me, can play both S spots but I'm no scout so my opinion is strictly that, my opinion :).

I will say that Elway himself has said that they do lots of Mock Drafts in preparation for the real thing. They want to see how the board may fall several times so that they can be prepared for anything and get an idea of values.
Commented on Behind The MHR Scene: Are Mock Drafts Worthless And Best Player Available Discussion. on Apr 20 2014, 1:59p
They are absolutely worthless. Fun, but worthless.

The only reason I consider Exum as a FS is his size and speed. He might be just a lick slow (4.56) to play CB as well and weighing 220 he could be a great midfielder to help in run support
Commented on Horse Tracks: The Broncos are interested in Ryan Shazier? on Apr 20 2014, 12:27p - 1 reply
My thinking is that Bucannon will replace Moore so he'd only be a back up in his 1st year.
Commented on Horse Tracks: The Broncos are interested in Ryan Shazier? on Apr 20 2014, 12:23p - 1 reply
I agree after the 1st round there isn't as much OT talent which is why if we are taking a G I would rather take a guy in the mid rounds like Dozier, or even Swanson (who is a C who could also potentially play G) than a 1st round G.
Commented on Horse Tracks: The Broncos are interested in Ryan Shazier? on Apr 20 2014, 12:22p - 1 reply
Mock drafts are useless but fun. BPA is a myth unless you are stocked with great depth top to bottom which no team is. Some teams reach more based on need than others
Commented on Horse Tracks: BPA a myth? on Apr 20 2014, 12:20p - 1 reply

I could see us taking a WR in the 1st. I wouldn't love it but Kelvin Benjamin or Jordan Matthews are my picks if we do. Otherwise I hope we wait (deep class).

Could be true. The last 2 years they didn't have any visits with our 1st picks. Maybe we should be looking at who we haven't brought in?
Commented on Horse Tracks: The Broncos are interested in Ryan Shazier? on Apr 19 2014, 5:19p
He's definitely got the size and I'd love to see how he could develop with good coaching. He's a little slower than I'd like my CBs to be but his length could help him there.
Commented on Horse Tracks: The Broncos are interested in Ryan Shazier? on Apr 19 2014, 5:17p
Bucannon could replace Bolden or Bruton easily and IMO would be an upgrade over Duke. He could easily rotate in. I agree that S isn't a big need

Love Fuller and Bucannon, not thrilled with the other 2 (like Hyde, just not at that pick).
Commented on Horse Tracks: The Broncos are interested in Ryan Shazier? on Apr 19 2014, 5:14p
Why would we use a 1st round pick on a RB? Carlos Hyde is no Adrian Peterson. I will break my TV is Carlos Hyde is the top player on our board at #31 and Elway will need to fire Russell and Heckert too.

I would be perfectly ok with that. I'd even be ok if they took Shazier and Williamson. I like Williamson quite a bit and he would be great value in the 5th or 6th round.
Commented on Why is everyone so high on Ryan Shazier on Apr 19 2014, 11:52a
Why Jones? He wasn't anything special as a MLB for the noles (49 tackles). He seems slower. Why not take a faster LB in Barrow, Tripp, Williamson, Coyle etc?
Commented on Why is everyone so high on Ryan Shazier on Apr 19 2014, 11:51a
Don't love the Jones pick. He wasn't special at MLB for the Seminoles (49 tackles) and isn't very fast. If we are taking a MLB after the 3rd then take Barrow or Williamson.

I haven't heard much about Zumwalt but if he can cover then I'm for it. His 4.76 40 time is much slower than I'd like from someone who can cover though.
