Denver Stiffs Obvious Roster Move for Next Season.....

This series showed us all we need to know about what our first move should be for next season.....move J.R. Smith ASAP. This roster is full of too many egos, and he is Big Head Case #1. As much as we will miss him some nights, the longterm will be so much better without him on our roster. We need more players like Joey Graham. What an effort by him in Game 6. He was a true warrior. Thank goodness for him otherwise Game 6 would have been really ugly. Let's hope Nuggets management puts this thing together soon as our time is running out with Chauncey Billups. There are a few other changes that need to be addressed, but I believe starting with moving "Smitty" first is the best move for a brighter outlook for next year. The kid is just too immature and he doesn't appear likely to grow out of that anytime soon. Let's Go Nuggets. Get Well Coach Karl...the Nuggets need you!

Denver Stiffs That was ugly

Okay, so what the heck was that tonight? Things sure are not looking good right now. Let's hope the Nuggets got thick band-aids or bubble gum to fix this leak, but the water is starting to get louder. Somebody flip the switch as I have been watching the '08 Nuggets the last few weeks. Somebody better step up real quick or we are ONE AND DONE. Never would have guessed that after such a great year last year. This was our year this year. Go Nuggets! Please find a way........

The next game is even tougher, but you have to believe they'll be ready, especially against the LAMERS! Let GO NUGGETS! Got to finish strong. Winning games like tonigh will only make us tougher come playoff time. Go Nuggs and Get Well Coach Karl!!! Beat Lame LA!

Denver Stiffs Not Giving Up

The past 6 games have been forgetable to say the least and hopefully we can look back on these and laugh come season's end. Nobody has been more frustrated than us the Fans, but it is NOT time to give up. I myself have been critical of the Nugs play of late. We must remember that every season is a long grind. The NBA stuck it to us good with a ridiculous 5-game road trip at the end of this marathon. Has anybody noticed, but the Fakers aren't looking much better these days, and they have their coach and all their key players, minus Bynum - but he's overated. We have been without our head coach, the Enforcer K-Mart, and until recently the speedster Lawson. Most teams would have folded Day 1. We have 7 games left, and 5 are at home so we must take at least 5 out of 7. The Nugs have a lot of work to do, but rumor has it, Coach Karl is nearing the end of his treatments. The Nugs need Coach K as much as he needs them. What an inspiration it will be to have Coach back for a playoff run. I have a feeling it will be the boost that the players all need. He's not out of the woods, but I will be shocked if he's not back on the bench come playoff time. Here's believing that we can come together for this final stretch. As important it is for a higher seed, what is most important is that we find a way to play together as a team again. If that happpens, watch out Western Conference. Don't give up Nugs, it's GO TIME!

Denver Stiffs Beating Ourselves.........Where's Petro/Lawson?

When are the Nuggets finally going to get it? To go where we went last year to where we are now is not just frustrating, but it is unacceptable. It is finally starting to show just how much we miss K-Mart. Without the "Enforcer", there is no D in Denver. We continue to beat ourselves night in/night out by not doing the small things to win the simplest of games. This road trip is crucial and we are 1 down with 4 more brutal ones to go. The only excuse that we have this year is that we are on most nights getting everyone's best. After seeing how far we went last year, and the potential that we have this year, it just plain FRUSTRATING.......... We should know what it takes, and yet we beat ourselves every game we lose. I don't get it anymore..... I thought this was about doing this for Coach Karl...Coach K would do anything he could to be there for his team, yet the Sluggies continue to come out and play lackluster ball. What disrespect to their coach and their fans. Let's play the players who care....oh yea, and where was Petro and Lawson tonight? AC has been tremendous for us, but we have to find minutes for Lawson. Yes, his first game back is going to be rusty, but he is a difference maker and he can score points, unlike the bench players who played tonight. Are the coaches waiting for the last game of the season to get him ready? The coaching has been too soft since Karl has been out. Dantley is a great guy, but he needs to start getting in players faces and get this team motivated. We better start locking down or we can not only kiss the #2 seed away, but the divison too. How's starting the road on the playoffs sound? That in itself should ignite some come of fire......ya think??

Denver Stiffs Are We Signing a BIG?

Any word on if our Nugs are going to sign a BIG for extra insurance? Earlier this week, I heard rumors that they worked out a couple players. Anybody got any updates or inside information on this? We sure could use an extra body even if K-Mart is ready to go sooner than later. My preference, let K-Mart rest up and get ready for playoff time. Go Nuggets! Let's Do This!! It's Go Time

Denver Stiffs What We Know...What We Need to Do....No Excuses, the Time is  Now

WHAT WE KNOW: 1. Constant disrespect by national media. 2. We don't win when we do not pass the ball and drive to the hole. 3. The season is 82 games long.

WHAT WE NEED TO DO: 1.) Give up on the idea that the national media is going to give us credit. Lets face it, we Nuggets fans want to hear just somebody out there in the national media say something good about us because we see/know the potential in this team. Wouldn't it feel great to be given some respect around here...not going to happen. We are not going to ever get any respect until we get to the NBA Finals and win it all. If we so happen get that opportunity to make it this year, all we will likely hear is the media make up excuses on how the Lakers blew the big one because of some so called call. But until we win it all, it's going to be the same old story around here. To be honest, we do not deserve any credit unti that happens. 2.) When the Nuggets play as individuals, it's a bad site, and this past week we have had a lot of this. I don't get it, and apparently the Nugs don't get it either as they continue to play like this from time to time which leads me to #3. 3.) The season is 82 games long..... It is a grind and not a sprint as much as we all want to see it. We cannot expect perfection each night, and there are going to be nights like Monday in Phoenix that we cannot wait to soon forget. As a lifetime Nugs fan of 32 years, the potential here is something special and it's time for us as Nuggets fans, the Nuggets organization, and the players to get all on board the same Nugget train and take advantage of this great opportunity. As we know, what goes up, usually come down. With as tight as the Western Conference is again this year, it's easy to get caught up in the playoff positioning now.....

WHAT WE NEED TO DO: Is learn from champions of the past and know that when it comes playoff time, the time will be then to step up and make no excuses. With all hope, we will be the No. 2 Seed come season's end, but let's not panic if we are not. Every year has a different tune, and we know that this year's playoffs will be even tougher than last year's. Another reason why we have a subpar record against the bottom dwellers is because of last year, we are getting everybody's best this year. The Nugs have have the mental toughness to get where they belong, but they must not get caught up in all this pre-playoff hoopla. It has been surprising to see some teams out of the West step up this year as I would have never guessed after last year that they would be where they are now.. Dallas, Phoenix, Oklahoma City, and Portland. The bottom line is that the Nuggets know that they are the only team in the West that truly believes that they can beat the Lakers and they can. The rest will hope for some kind of miracle upset, and the only one's right now that have that chance are the Trailblazers. So to bring this thing to a close, the time is now for us to make a move..... Yes, that means you Nuggets Management....We need one more piece to that puzzle and that piece is another BIG MAN that nobody will come out to admit that we need. Yes, we are trying to woo the Big Man in Cleveland, but the chances get less and less as the start of March unfolds. I truly believe that piece is still out there and available to us this year. It doesn't have to be an Ilgauskas...What that piece must be though is the piece that wants to be here and that wil do whatever they can to help this team win. There is somethring truly special here, and it is something that we can turn into a dynasty if we want it to be. We are afterall, the NUGGETS and somewhere in there is the gold mine.

The TIME IS NOW NUGGETS FANS, NUGGETS MANAGEMENT AND NUGGETS PLAYERS....the championship is ours for the taking... Let's make it happen.....it's time to Lock Down and all be one TEAM!! Go Nuggets! WIN IT ALL FOR COACH KARL!

Mile High Report So who's going to be our Linebackers Coach in 2010?

Anyone got any ideas on who's going to coach our linebackers in 2010? It would be awesome to bring in somebody like an Al Wilson....though I do not think coaching is a part of his future. I honestly have no ideas? Wondering if anyone has any scoop on this? Let's Go Broncos! 2010 is our year to shock the nation. Coach McD is preparing this ship in the right direction and we must all stay onboard.... Go Broncos!
