Lou is ill and couldn't make it. Hopefully, he'll be OK for the convention. Hope to see some of you there. Got a chance to talk with Marshall, Samardzija, Gathright and Hendry. Marshall would like to start, but it looks like the Cubs want him to remain in the swing role. Also got a chance to meet Kevin Gregg. Seems like a good guy. Nothing like baseball when the temperatures are dropping well below zero.
