Avid sports fan whose main fan interest centers around each professional Pittsburgh sports team. Graduate of Ohio State in 2008 with a degree in Journalism. Spent three years in the sports information department at Capital University, a Division III school located in Columbus, Ohio. Spent an additional year as a Sports Reporter for the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette as staff won "Best Sports Section". AP award winner for Best Feature Sports Reporter in 2011.

I'm also an avid runner who has completed the Boston and New York City Marathons. Ran at the NCAA level as a graduate student a Capital University, ranking seventh all-time in school history for the 8k race.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, I'm hopeful that the Columbus Blue Jackets can build a winning a culture to enhance the city as a Pro Sports town.
