This season Freeman seems to be holding onto the ball for wayyyyyy too long. Not sure if he is just being indecisive or if the receivers really aren't getting separation or  if there is better coverage, etc. He is taking too many sacks and those INT's we all hate (killing us) are stemming from that.

Can someone please tell me why Freeman isn't running the damn ball? Not only did he have good yards last year from running but how do you think we kept a whole lot of drives going last year? This year he simply isn't doing it, or doing it too late or when we have to have it, (see 4th quarter against Indy). Maybe this is also a reason for some of those slow starts. Not only will that keep the defense honest but it should open up more for the receivers. I really don't want to say but I think Freeman may have bought into all the hype of himself during the offseason. Now he is trying to be "that quarterback" instead of doing what got him noticed in the first place. I'm just speculating but would love to hear some other thoughts.

I know they said we weren't going to be big players in free agency, or that we weren't going to be "dumpster diving" this year on the waiver wire either. That being said, could it be that we were waiting for this cut down period to get some new guys for nothing and possibly pull off some low-level trades? Could Dominik be that smart? We dont know, but could he have known how the Lance Briggs situation would play out?

Briggs has some years on him but we dont have that experience on our LB core. Anyone who is a real fan of the Bucs, knows that between the Bears and Bucs the  defensive system is interchangeable, so he would immediately fit in. Maybe slightly different since Raheem took over but still.

On the offensive side of the ball, on the same team, could he have known that the Bears would drop Chester Taylor? Taylor is a very underrated runner in my own opinion. Why not take a shot on two very serviceable players, and veterans? I personally think it would be a good move, what do you think?

I understand that we already have a No. 1 receiver and he should be, he has earned it with his work ethic. But grabbing T.J. Houshmanzadah (a.k.a. my self proclaimed name, wait for it.....T.J. "Who'smanisthat?") would be crucial to not only solidify our receiving core with Stroughter running the slot but present a leadership presence in the locker room. T.J. is an all-around receiver, he can block, route run, and catch of course. So the Bucs brass needs to do anything to persuade him to "come on down" to Tampa. Also with him we can not only feel extra great by releasing "Can Catch Clayton", but possibly Mo Stovall as well. Keeping Reggie Brown, Michaeal Spurlock, and Preston Parker, as both of the latter have earned it. Whatd'ya think Bucs fans, am I right????? Let me know and sound off!

its so painstakingly obvious that antonio bryant is washing his hands with us at the end of the season. The positive part (for his career) is that he is going about it the right way. he has not come out and say it, but he wants to win and this is a ship that will take some time to right. he produces when he gets the chance (besides a few dropped passes, some @ clutch times, but that comes with him not being able to practice on a consistent basis). unless we franchise him again, which i dont see because he clearly does not want to be in tampa unless we have a winner, he will test the free agent market. there will definitely be a market for him as well. the real question is, what do we do then? we have no talent besides stroughter at the WR position and we can't expect  that we will draft a rookie when the D needs so much help. let alone that a rookie will come in and produce(like stroughter!). that doesnt happen every year, especially at the receiver position. any ideas????
