SJSU Replay
Does anyone know where I can find the SJSU replay? I live in Birmingham, but have Brighthouse so I don't get CSS. It doesn't appear that the SEC is selling this game for download online. Nor can I find a torrent to download. Any other suggestions I really have no clue where else to look. I've seen just about every highlight possible, but I am dying to see the whole game... I had to go to a yankee wedding (Saturday night) and missed it.
Alabama All Access
Did anyone else see about 10 minutes into Thursday show, when the team was stretching Coach went up to Julio and said "Are we going to have a conversation today?" and Julio shook his head no and pointed Coach on down the line. Is there a riff here? Did I miss something? Also it was pretty funny watching him crack on Mark Barron for body fat. All in all, a pretty good show so far.

UP Glen Coffee, RB, 49ers
Talkin' about sleepers, how 'bout a rookie that ranks No. 89 in our RB rankings and isn't even being drafted in most leagues? Coffee reportedly is looking very good at Niners camp, and he tore up the Raiders in a preseason game (137 total yards). Certainly we can't overrate what backups are doing in the preseason, but Coffee definitely has a bead on the Niners' backup job, and starter Frank Gore has a checkered injury history.

Any Bama fans in Texas
So I'm a recent alum in Houston. First of all, I'm looking to see if people gather anywhere to watch the Bama games?
Second, I was wondering if any Bama fans would like to start doing a Friday night tour and go as a group in Bama gear and cheer on Alabama recruits at their high school games. I think it would send a great message and give them a taste of what it will be like to wear the Crimson jersey. It seems like Chad Lindsay is a huge recruit out of the Woodlands, wouldn't it be nice to let him know that he isn't missing out on something by wearing Crimson instead of burn orange?

Summary of Julio, Ingram, & Hightower Interview
Julio--Very timid, apparently he does his speaking on the field
A quarterback is a quarterback... throw the ball anywhere near me and I'll catch it, it doesn't matter if you have Mike DuBose or Tom Brady throwing it, just throw it within the Atlanta Metropolitan Area of me and I will catch it. Double team me this year? That is a step down from the triple team they did on me last year! Have you not seen my highlights (a la Javier Arenas)
Mark Ingram---Quite the guy on camera, entertaining interview
Have I met Trent, am I cool with him? I've known him for 1 practice, yeah of course we're cool or whatever. Have I seen his highlights? Have you seen my highlights? Greg is better at putting the ball in the money. We're ready to run the ball down your throat!
Dont'a--Another entertaining interview. I would love to have a beer with Javy, Ingram and Dont'a
They're moving me to Jack, Surprise!!!! It's a lot easier, I've got one job: rush the quarterback. Aka: Greg McElroy is wearing a blue Gators #15 jersey and my goal is to knock his lights out. That's about all folks, knock his lights out.
Eddie Lacy Clears!

Eddie Lacy Cleared today... expect big things from this kid. Most underrated incoming freshman IMHO

Decoding the words of recruits
I don't know if anyone read the article on the Elite 18 in the Mobile Press-register, but I found a really interesting quote:
Twelve members of the Elite 18 have already announced their commitments. . . . More may follow quickly. Lincoln's D.J. Howard, a running back who will likely switch to safety on the next level, is said to be nearing a decision and Williams has narrowed his choices to three -- Alabama, Auburn and Florida State.
"I might just go on and get it over with," Williams said this week.
It seems that high talent recruits are committing earlier than ever before, that wearing a Crimson jersey is far more meaningful that showboating and swagging at a press conference.
So what D.J. Howard really was saying:
"Alabama already has 16 commitments so I have to hurry up and commit before I no longer have a spot."
or
"Alabama already has 16 commitments and doesn't have a spot for me so I guess I will have to settle for the Teagles, wait, is that their mascot? I'm confused. Are they the tigers, the eagles, the big cats, the prowlers?"
I have never hated NBA so much!
Just when we were seeing some chance of watching the game on time and seeing the McElroy/Julio TD pass, Joakim Noah has to foul and cause us 5 more minutes of game play. Has to be some Noah-Gator conspiracy.

The Joke is on the Hatter
Looks like Les may be in for a surprise, Did he sign Reuben Randle or Waldo Faldo?
Reuben Randle:
Waldo Faldo:
As you may remember, or be too young to remember, Waldo Faldo was a supporting character on Family Matters who always said "cool" and whenever anyone said his name, he would say "'sup?" Now RR, may in fact be the offspring of Waldo Faldo because he is missing the stylish haircut and has not mastered the sweet stache--but he looks well on his way about stache. Besides, I always imagined Waldo to smell like corndog.
Eat it Aubs, Muschamp Coach in Waiting at UT
This is great, eat it Aubs. Will Muschamp has been named as the Coach in Waiting for the UT Longhorns after Mack Brown retires. I can't wait to hear Finebaum. All the barners have been calling it, "We will fire Tubs, then get Muschamp. Then we will be alright. Got seven?" Yes, Aubs, you will have 7, a big 5-7.
Looks like Little Brother might have to hire another Bowden

Coach Stallings on Franklin
Coach Stallings was on Finebaum and his opinion that Auburn and its fans are wanting to get back to knock 'em off the line run it football. To be honest, I want them to get back to that by November too. The reason, my friends, is The Legend of Mt. Cody. An Auburn spread that could have clicked by November was slightly scary. An Auburn running offense against our running defense is going to leave little brother walking with his tail tucked under his legs back to that school down the road wondering why his finger stinks. Now, there is only one outstanding question: How many Auburn players does it take to chop block Mt. Cody?
Message From Mal Moore
Just got this in my email:
Dear Crimson Tide Fan:
For the second time in three years, the members of the Tulane football team – players, coaches, athletic department staff and their families – have been displaced from their community by a devastating hurricane. The people of the State of Alabama have consistently opened their homes and their hearts to their fellow citizens from the city of New Orleans. As a continued show of support and respect for their plight – and as an example of the class and dignity with which the citizens of Alabama, particularly Crimson Tide football fans, have always shown – I urge all of you to welcome the Tulane football team to Bryant-Denny Stadium with an enthusiastic, warm round of applause when they take the field Saturday night. Since it will be our first home game, I encourage you to arrive in Tuscaloosa and on campus early. Parking, as you know, will be at a premium, so if you can double or triple up with friends coming to the game, it might alleviate some of the traffic and parking congestion. While there will be a number of people honored Saturday night, I do want to alert you that we will have a video feature on the video boards at halftime honoring John Mark Stallings. Our honorary captains will be Bobby Smith and Dave Sington, who were the permanent captains on Coach Paul Bryant’s first team, fifty years ago in 1958. We look forward to hosting all of you this week. Roll Tide! Mal Moore
Director of Athletics
Does this look familiar to anyone?
I was browsing photos of last night's game and came across this. Who does JPW look like?

What a pose! Glad to see that Alabama looked tough and strong. Finally we have a team of bruisers. Also, I'm glad they opened up in White--they definitely earned the right to wear Crimson next game. RTR!
