I've been following the progress of some former roller hockey teammates that are a few years older than me. And they are pretty damn good. Namely I played with Dylan Mueth who plays at McKendree University. And the Faulkners Nick and Timmy who play for Triad. Mueth is second in scoring and points and leading the team in power play goals. Nick is tied for first in points at Triad and has 17 goals in 10 games. Timmy has 4 goals as a sophomore. As a goalie i'll admit Dylan and Nick made me look like i wasn't even there. Some of the things i've seen them do is just ridiculous. So getting to my point.... why isn't hockey more encouraged in the St.Louis area. Why does it seem like the talent goes unnoticed.

I look around at our roster and the UFA veterans and wonder. Who could and would step up and take the leadership role our young players need. The only players who come to my mind are Backes,MacDonald,Jackman, and ..... well shit thats all i got. Do you see UFA's that could fit in our leadership role that we may actually sign. Do you think we will once again stay with Brewbot as Captain?
