I am a Chicago fan and a sports fan. I have lived here all of my life, and for the first couple of decades, none of the teams were particularly successful... then, Sting, Bears, but then, BULLS -- 6 championships... I believe that MJ and the Bulls transcended sports and elevated the whole city.

I was aware of the day and time of the NBA lottery, caught it at the last minute, saw on the espn crawl something like, "Heat, Wolves, Bulls final three" (I swear, time stopped...). Then watched the "finals" live. I have been reading this blog since. Big, big, big kudos to all participants.
