Four key Broncos starters need MRIs Tuesday according to Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post. Defensive end Elvis Dumervil (shoulder), cornerback Champ Bailey (hamstring), Brandon Lloyd (groin), and Knowshon Moreno (hamstring) all suffered injuries.

"And John Fox now finds himself in an unusually bad spot after only one loss as the coach in Denver.

The boredom of his medieval, ball-control offense was only often exceeded only by its ineptitude."

Looks like Kiszla is ready to start the next head coach search

Detroit traded offensive lineman Tyler Polumbus to Seattle for a late-round pick. The Lions claimed Polumbus off waivers from Denver last week. Way to flip a player, Detroit.

Brandon Marshall signed his one-year contract tender Tuesday afternoon, and was a Miami Dolphin before the sun rose in Denver Wednesday.

Hoping the pattern repeats itself, Broncos tight end Tony Scheffler will follow suit by signing his tender Wednesday afternoon, making a possible trade easier to facilitate.

Mike Klis of the Denver Post writes that the Broncos are hopeful of getting a third-round pick back for Scheffler. If they are successful doing so, they would have five picks in the first three rounds. And a lot of holes to fill.

This is probably one of the harshest article I've ever read about the Broncos. Unfortunately, he's probably right

Mile High Report Spencer Larsen Out "A Few Weeks"

I didn't see this posted anywhere, but apparently Spencer Larsen fell in the shower and hurt his shoulder

Linebacker Spencer Larsen, a sixth-round draft pick in 2008, reportedly slipped and fell on a wet spot on the floor.  Larsen has a shoulder injury, and he'll miss a "few weeks."

The Associated Press surmises that Larsen suffered the injury less than 90 minutes before kickoff, because Larsen wasn't on the list of inactive players for the Week One game at Cincinnati.

Coach Josh McDaniels said that the injury wasn't the result of horseplay.  (And since NFL head coaches always tell the truth, we believe it.)
