ButteBronco
Sep 15, 2008 Jan 13, 2012 15 1315
Growing up in Montana, the Bronco games were on TV each week, and I became a huge fan from a young age. My parents took my brother and I to a Bronco game just about every year while I was in grade school-- the best being the 1992 divisional playoff win vs. Houston. I have not attended a game in the new stadium, but have seen the team as recently as the 2005 new year's eve beat-down of the Chargers.
I currently reside in my hometown of Butte, where I'm CPA working for my family's firm. I have two young children and my wife no longer allows me to watch the games at our home due to the yelling and such. It's probably a good thing. Bronco games are a great release, a chance to escape reality for a few hours and emotionally engage in something you have no control over. My other, more healthy, escape is music. My wife and I travel all over the country to see live music (you kind of have to living in MT). My favorite live performers: Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Wilco, Neil Young, Drive by Truckers, and My Morning Jacket.

More good news.
Kuper and Jarvis Moss leave practice.
The Revolutionary
Wow. Our Denver Broncos jumped into the first round and made perhaps the most important draft pick in organization history and perhaps league history. Everyone seems to be wondering, can Tim Tebow run a Pro-Style offense? It's a good question, but not the right one. The real question is, what does this draft pick mean for the future of the notion of a "pro style offense"? At every level of football there has been change to how offensive football is played, and the NFL may be on the verge of a paradigm shift in terms of offensive football philosophy. With the Tim Tebow pick, I believe the Denver Broncos went "all in" on a new era of professional football, and anything less than a revolution will set the club back for many years. No pressure coach.

Lombardi's Take
I like Mike Lombardi, and he has a pretty good take on the trade. He also says he'll be visiting Denver tomorrow for an NFLN inverview with coach McDanials-- must see TV for sure.
Seattle Deals G Sims to Detroit
This guy has been kicked around as a possible throw-in to a Marshall deal w/Sea. Not sure of the pick(s) involved, but maybe they will be involved instead.
With all this action heating up, BM could be gone soon if he goes at all.
Changing at the Left Gaurd?
From the venerable Frank Schwab.
Seven Players Missing from Today's Practice
Brandon Marshall not one of them. It's good to hear he's out there. Between all the reporting and this crazy off-season, I was paranoid that he would be held out today. Phew.
At Dawn
I hate to overstate it, but this weekend will be a watershed moment for the Denver Broncos. With the exit of Mike Shanahan, Jay Cutler, and the Goodmans, and the entrance of Josh McDanials and Brian Xanders, our proud franchise hangs in the balance. Are we at the dawn of Pat Bowlen's golden era, where a draft-rebuilt, balanced team competes for Super Bowls year-in year-out over the next decade, or did we just trade away the cornerstone of the franchise for nothing but a few oppressive contracts that will render us AFC West bottom feeders for the decade to come?

Cutler to Speak @ 4:00 PM MST
Channel 7 in Denver is going to carry it live.
Kornhieser and Wilbon on Cutler Situation
My two favorite members of the MSM wax on Jay and McD in their daily talking points segment on WP.com.
Granted, Tony is terrible on MNF but his radio show is my favorite sports-related TV/Radio/Internet show of all time. PTI is great too.
I love Wilbon's take on a 32 year old coach coming into this situation-- "chin music".
Cutler talk starts around the 9:40 mark.
Derrick Ward to Visit Broncs Tomorrow
According to Florio.
