Blog a Bull The Deng/Iguodala dilemna

Can someone explain how Iggy an upgrade over Deng besides being a flashier dunker and more durable?  Neither of them can create off the dribble.  I know people say Iggy has handles but he really doesn't.  Deng has become decent at shooting 3s, Iggy has a below average shot pretty much everywhere on the court.  Deng is a way better rebounder which is an extremely important part of defense.  Both are pretty good defenders, Iggy is a slightly better man to man defender.

The only clear advantage Iggy has over Deng is his durability which I admit is important.  Honestly I just don't see how trading Deng for Iggy is a clear upgrade at all, not to mention Iggy's contract is way worse than Deng's.

Someone please enlighten me.

Blog a Bull Jerel McNeal

I wouldn't mind the Bulls looking into picking up McNeal from Marquette as a undrafted FA.  Same size and skill set as Kirk so he could be a Kirk replacement.  Not as good of a shooter but more athletic, could spell both guard positions for 15 solid minutes.

We need more defenders on the team, this wouldn't be a bad start.  Dude can score a bit too, he was the all time leading scorer for Marquette...which probably isn't saying much though.  But still....

Blog a Bull David West.....no thanks

I see a lot of people saying we should go for David West.  I ask why?  He is a 6'9" injury-prone jumpshooter.  Um...don't we already have that in Loul Deng?  They both rebound at the same rate and Loul plays better D.  Plus West is almost 30.  Why do people think West is a difference maker, he's a good player but are we trying to be contenders or just an annual playoff team?

We got bigger fish to fry than to worry about how to get second-tier players.
