Ron Artest Has Surgery on Thumb

ESPN notes that Ron Artest had surgery on his thumb. His recovery time line is 10 weeks. This is good news for various reasons. Most notably that Ron Artest was in fact injured rather telling Reggie when he would play or not.

I would have normally waited for this to show up in the bee and on StR tomorrow, but recent deprivation from this site has me looking for excuses to make up for lost time. Seeing E-Muss at Luna Loca in Danville for the Lakers game was the equivalent of loading up on StR crack. The downtime since has been nothing but a hangover and withdrawals.

After a beatdown by TZ, he's trying to save some credibility, by saying that Kevin Martin looks to get the ball up as quickly as he can. I'm sure you all have an opinion out there, whether or not you actually watch the Kings.

What does this tell you? SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- Kevin Martin scored 29 points and Beno Udrih played well in his first game of the season as the Sacramento Kings held off the Minnesota Timberwolves, 100-93, on Saturday.

John Salmons scored 19 points and Brad Miller added 12 and 16 rebounds for the Kings, who won for the first time in three tries at home this season.

Mark Kriedler Sucks

I grew up in Sacramento. I now go to San Diego State. I am terrible at English. That having been said, I have always, and I mean always, been annoyed by Mark Kriedler's columns. Yes they combine appreciable elements of writing. But for the most part, I hate his writing. It is broken up, written with jokes I neither understand or care to understand, is hard to follow, and contributes little to the overall perspective of the piece he describes. Like I said, I hate English, and I could not blog or write for the life of me. But I'm looking for support here. I just don't understand the guy. He looks weird and sounds weirder in his text. Does anyone else feel the same?

I don't understand why Musselman doesn't have the confidence to give Garcia consistent playing time every game throughout the game, but decides that as a defensive specialist and potent practice shooter is only worthy of locking down 4th quarters with big minutes in crunch time. He shows up in the big moments because he is the man, period. He's the best shot blocker on the team (aside from Williams... which is yet to be truly seen) second best defensive player, the best 3 point shooter in practice, and overall a dominating presence with minutes. But he doesn't get that recognition. It's so frustrating, even Adelman recognized this kid's potential, I will love the Maloofs forever if they are man enough to bring Adelman back, or man enough to tell Muss to get Garcia playing time.

Did anyone else see that in the preview to the suns game? I'm having trouble finding the link. But ESPN used some comment from sacbee.com that included 10 negative adjectives to describe the Kings. Absolutely pathetic, I'm so depressed that pieces of shit like NNA can actually make it to National news. Not only that, but at the same time it is passed off as a real opinion. Where are you God?
