Cloids in Cincinnati

I managed to make it through my first year in Cincinnati (in grad school) watching Louisville games by myself. It wasn't preferable, but I'm usually a nervous wreck the whole time, so it was...

Trying to Look Back and Put Some Perspective on This

I remember being maybe four or five years old and laying in my room still awake at night as my dad yelled from the living room things like "HE WALKED!" or "GOTTA REBOUND, WHY AREN'T YOU...

A Few (Early) Thoughts On 2012 Louisville Football

Sitting around this break watching all the BCS games on TV (some uncharacteristically good ones, by the way), I haven't been able to stop myself from thinking about Cardinal Football next year So...

Remember Justin Coleman?

I remember a point last year where Pitino had declared the coming season "a bridge year." We'd lost a lot of talent, we had few obvious scorers, and more question marks than we'd had in previous seasons. We also had a small recruiting class that featured some dude named Gorgee or Gorgwi or something, and a pretty promising wing player named Justin Coleman. This Coleman kid looked like he would be very useful on a team that featured no proven player at the same position. But Coleman never qualified academically, and, as we know, life went on for Louisville just fine (until Morehead-still pissed). I wasn't sure whatever happened to Coleman. Now I know, and this year's success aside, I don't think we miss him at all. The link says it all.
