Originally from Iowa (the land of no professional sports what-so-ever), I grew up a conflicted fan who didn't know if I should root for the Bears, Vikings, Packers, Chiefs or Rams. All were about 4-5 hours from where I lived. But then I graduated college and moved to the Twin Cities where I heard nothing but Vikings 24 hours a day, and decided after the 2004 season, that I would declare my allegiance to the Vikings. What a time to declare! I got to sit through the Moss Drama, the Love Boat drama, Tice Firing, Culpepper drama, Chilly lameness, the tale of two Favres, and most recently Ponder vs Webb.

I've since moved away from MN, and to a city without professional sports, but remain loyal to the Minnesota Vikings. My other source of fandom is of course, Star Wars, hence the super sweet avatar. Maybe one day Darth Vader will be our quarterback and he can just will us to win. I love the Daily Norseman community, and it gives me a connection to the team. Since I no longer live in MN, finding fans of the Vikings around here is difficult, but interacting with everyone here on the Daily Norseman fills a void. So, thanks for being a great community!
