What about Pedro Martinez?

Fairly new to BYB and would like to know what you think.
There seems to be a lot of debate over the rotation after Nate Robertson was traded. What happens if/when Willis falls apart? Some names have been thrown around such as Jarrod Washburn, and I would like to throw out another: Pedro Martinez. He stepped in halfway through last season and did an admirable job for the Phillies, going 5-1 in 9 games down the stretch. He had 37/8 K/BB and a 1.25 WHIP in 44.2 innings. He could be a valuable pitcher and mentor to our young guys (like Kenny Rogers). He also could be had for cheap (he signed with the Phillies for $1M in 2009).
What do you think? Good idea/bad idea? Wait till midseason (or when Willis fails) and see if he is signed yet?
