Clutch Landry: Houston interim go to guy

Since we still have no go-to-guy at the moment , we should try to give that role to him   during closer . Even if we  have a tough loss against Blazers, i really like what  i've seen with Landry. He is so tough, relentless  off the boards, have the will to win.. confident and very cool under pressure esp. on the line..Maybe we should go more with this guy, and he is worth playing for .. He has a greater chance to be the sixth man of the year if he continues to play that way consistently..

He's a workhorse..  i call him Clutch Landry

Houston B.A.L.L. Squad : on the rise

I called them the B.A.L.L squad: Budinger, Andersen, Laundry, Lowry. Even our team recently lost to a tall and talented Atlanta Hawks. These are  the combination +Battier that gave us a lead on a 14-4  run cushioned and gave us momentum early in the 4th Qtr. Then a sudden ill advised substitution from our coach , brought  back the starters who played  a little flat in that game that somehow cost us the game. But thanks to the ball squad of Laundry and Lowry who's never say die attitude, almost forced the game  into overtime.

Our coach is one of the best in the league no doubt , but somehow with this kind of a game, he should reconsider this  2nd unit combo potentials to be an effective lethal back up  that can really makes our starters life easier.

But then again, its a bitter sweet game. Bottom line, it shows that  we are the scrappiest team in the league, a  tough nut to crack and a never say die attitude that can make other teams life miserable and really makes us proud to be a Houston Rocket dreamshakers!

Go Rockets! pulverized SACS tom.!

Iverson dilemma continues: When will it end?

I think A.I still have enough talent on his sleeves despite his attitude problems that makes  team owners think twice. Teams like N.Y and Miami, show  interest on acquiring his services . Whom would you think among NBA teams can qualified to handle and embrace A.I despite  his complicated personality? should it be N.J, N.Y? Miami? or Houston?or any other team?

There are so many disadvantages having him.. but i think one positive thing in his game is during crunch time, he is more willing to take the shot and he's the go to guy type of a player than  can withstand the pressure esp. in a game closer situation..

What should A.I do and must not do  for him to be able to embrace again not only by the  team but also by  the fans as well?

We need more options: Pops & Taylor might be the answer

Now we see how we suffered humiliating defeat from the Mavs., main reason: Limited options. Since we dont have any go to guy at this point, maybe we should use a 10 man rotation to include Pops and Taylor. We don't have any other option if a couple of guys having offnight just like in this game against Dallas. As much as we want Ariza, Chase and the guys to be cosistent every game, there are some nights like this when we need other guys to step up, that in the likes of Pops and Taylor. I think these two deserved a playing time since they have potentials skill wise. I bet they can step up and give quality minutes in our team.

Trevor Breakout Game unfolds

Now my hope and belief of T-Riz becoming one of the pillars of Houston is finally coming to life  since he became a rocket few months ago. I know its too early to tell, but you can now see the glimpse of what he can be and  how  he can dominate a game and be one of the go to guys of our team.

A very smart move of GM Morey  of acquiring a young talented down to earth player who shows a lot of heart and compassion  and will power  in his game..less talk more actions!

More power Rockets! More W  to come!

Unveiling the New Houston Uniform: Your views.

Hey guys, any opinion on our new alternate uniform? do you think it has more character and style? or psychologically is it intimidating? By the way i think it has Yao's influence. Have you noticed it has Chinese feng shui    wherein the name HOUSTON is going upward right, means success and red and yellow  are the two luckiest in Chinese color wheel.

There's nothing wrong with that , as long as the whole team will play their hearts out  and convert it to winning more games.  : )

Good luck to us! Long live  Red Nation!  Go Houston Rockets!

Who's Yao personal mentor?

I don't have any idea who's Yao personal mentor..i know there's a lot of guys in this blog site that  are more knowledgeable, so can you help me ? By the way, correct me if i'm wrong, my personal guess is Hakeem the Dream. If not,  he should seek advise from him while recuperating from a seasoned  long  injury. The dream can provide him inputs and pointers that will enhance and polished his game and mental toughness to the fullest.. He is the M.J of center in the NBA and  for me the Greatest Center ever in the game of basketball. Long live the dream! Long live Yao!  Long live the Rockets!

What's the update on Von Wafer?

I haven't heard recently on Von Wafer's fate as a Rockets. Will he  still be staying in Houston?

I hope he will.. coz' Von is one of the important nucleus of the team due to his high octane razzle dazzle play that really fits houston Brand of play under Adelman system.. He's very explosive and got a lot of arsenal offensively,he just need fine tuning on his offense, especially on defense..But his never say die attitude and a lot of heart epitomizes Houston Legacy as a champion.

So guys do you have any information about Von? will he be staying? or its von voyage already? (hope not)

How about acquiring Rubio or Rudy Fernandez to complete the roster.

Having one or both of them will complete the cast..and make us a formidable , competitive Rockets coming this season. But  the big question is , How???, whom do we have to trade?

Their playing style , and good offensive prowess will definitely a great add-on to Houston brand of play and it fits very well with Adelman's System.

At least we know already the worth of Rudy F.  Well about Rubio , he got potential, and can develop to be one of premier guard in the NBA.. And its better for him to blossom wearing  a Rockets uniform...

What do you think guys? Aside from them, do you have any other players in mind that is more valuable, or say realistic enough to acquire?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By the Way.....Hail Morey! We have now a promising Back up Center = Big David Andersen..Great job! Keep it going!
