Article from the J&C about the first 6am workout for the team. Here are some highlights. Mcarthy making the move from WR to TE. Personally, I like it. I think it will create some great matchups against LBs and TEs. A hadndfull of players are no longer with the team. Quarterbacks Austin Parker and Erich Berzinskas along with kicker Sam McCartney are of note. Granted, the QBs were down on the depth chart, but this will now ruin any chance of the 8 QB system that we were working towards. McCartney surprised me as he was still in the running in the kicking game. Hazell comments on new secondary coach Taver Johnson. I personally think this is a great get for the program. He has history and ties to the midwest. And it wasn't a "step up" job for him. He was a secondary coach at his last job as well.
