Grew up in WIndsor Ontario, old enough to remember and enjoy the '68 World Series winning Tiger games but not old enough to remember Kaline's first season so that dates me somewhat. Remember walking yes walking across the Ambassador Bridge with no ID as a kid to go to Tiger games at good old Michigan and Trumbull...sigh....
Moved west 10 years ago for my job but kept the Michigan team affiliations but excluding the Dead Things, as a Canadian and even against the ethics of a lot of Windsorites, I have to be a martyr and root for the Maple Laffs...
I didn't put any team down for a fave NFL team, the Lions??? More involved in the CFL (Canadian Football League). I think the 3 downs and longer field makes for a more exciting game. None of this slogging for the 4th down on every possession but hey, will kick back and watch any NFL game too.
My Tiger live games now are the yearly trip to Seattle when the Tigs visit and very occasionally a flight back east to catch them at Comerica. I did see the Oakland series in May when they scored all those runs. (could we get back to those kind of run scoring games pls???) Otherwise, it's thanks gawd for MLB.com as lousy as the connection is sometimes....grrrrrr.
